I just had to share with my fellow Road Trippers my happy story of the week. I've been so un-freaking-believably busy the past couple of weeks, between entertaining out of town family, setting up the annual HOA meeting (complete with lots of drama), coordinating contractors on a construction project at my vacation house, helping out with the logistics of a fishing tournament, and (oh, yeah) working like 60 hours a week! On Sunday morning, I realized I hadn't sent in my Who's Who form and pic. DH encouraged me to go ahead and send it, but I was still busy with the HOA drama and cleaning up after the fishing tournament. He asked again when we got home and I put him off in favor of a relaxing drink and dip in the pool. So you can imagine my disgust with myself when I checked email yesterday and saw Kathy's email extending the date to Sunday. I could have gotten the darn thing in!
So I crossed my fingers and sent it yesterday at lunch time, with apologies and a note that I was just sure it was too late. Well, as it turns out, it wasn't too late. Kathy was just wrapping up the last few changes and she managed to get me in! Yea!!!
