Hi Justine,

I have been following the bodybuilding threads and notice you were making up a rotation for yourself. I have a similar body type as yours and respond to the same types of workouts in a similar way you do (per your descriptions on a few threads). I also seem to like the same workouts as you (except, I LOVE step!).

I am finishing up my STS 3 month rotation next week and was asking that you share what your continuing rotation ended up being. In a lot of the threads you state what you MAY do, but I am curious what you ended up doing and how it was for you. (Specific DVD names would be helpful rather than "something from LIS" - that is if you recorded what exactly you did.)

Don't worry - I am not trying to become Justinef II. I am just kind of at a loss of what to do next and always noted we have a similar body type and results from specific exercises. I am hoping to take the next week to map out my continuation and tweak it for my fun-factor and schedule.

Generally when I say I may do something, I do actually do it ;) (Note the wor generally!!!)

I have been following Cathe's Bodybuilding programme - after STS I took a week 'off' (but I continued walking my dogs and doing a bit of yoga, learning some step routines etc). I then did a Gym Styles rotation for a month. I actually did the January 2014 rotation, as that was based around Gym Styles.

Then it was LIS for 2 weeks - in this order....
Total Body trisets UB
Afterburn
Total Body Trisets LB + Turbobarre legs work
Low Impact Challenge
Total Body Trisets UB
Cardio Supersets
Slide and Glide
TB Trisets UB
Athletic Training
Total Body Trisets LB + Turbobarre legs work
rest
Afterburn +Intensity series lower body pyramid
Total Body trisets UB

I did more upper body work than usual, as I was preparing to wear a strapless dress for a friend's wedding!

I then took a few days off (for the wedding) and have now started on a 4DS rotation - I'll post what I've done tomorrow, as I've a few more descisions to be made for the last week.

The January 2014 rotation was awesome!
I also walk my dogs 5 miles a day, and do half an hour yoga as often as possible (I use MyYogaWorks at the moment), and I go to 1 Pilates class a week.

I'd love to know what you decide to do and how it all goes,

Thank you so much for posting, Justine! I know you did a lot of research on this topic.

I will print this and tweak as necessary for me. However, it looks pretty spot on of what will work for me. I too have a wedding coming up in August and some beach vacations in June and July so the upper body workouts will be needed.

Sadly my beloved outdoor activities are over since the 100+ degree heat has set in and will be here until late fall.

I would love to get any updates on your rotations and results.
