Your baby is absolutely beautiful! It makes me feel bad for kinda hoping I'm having a girl this time around. I have a 6 yo son and a 3 yo daughter. I always felt a little disappointed that my daughter wouldn't have a sister because I'm so close to my sister (plus they'll be closer in age). I know that no matter what I have, I will be super happy. Babies are a blessing regarless of sex.

Thanks for your words of encouragement when I posted a week and a half ago about being pregnant after my husband had a vas. I am already getting excited (although am still very nervous about how many changes we will be going thru once the little one is born. But I know that if anything happened to the pregnancy, I would be very sad. Funny how fast the idea really can grow on you.

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! He is beautiful!!! What a liitle muffin!!! Give him big hugs and kisses from us - because I'm sure he isn't getting enough now, right??? ;-)
 
What can I say??? He is beautiful!!!! I think he looks like he is puckering his lips for a kiss or blowing kisses. THANK YOU sooooo much for sharing!

Oh what a sweet baby. He really is perfect--doesn't look like he had a tough time during labor at all. Thanks for sharing his picture:)

He is so alert in the picture and looks so handsome. Alexis' hospital pictures came out awful. Alexis wants to know if he'd be interested in a slightly older girl. She thinks he is a real cutie.
 
Oh Melanie he's perfect! He's SO cute. I never got Jacobs pictures from the hospital, now, of course I wish that I had. He really is absolutely adorable.

Baby website?

Alexis may work out perfect for Justin...after all, she has such a wondeful mom. ;) They took 4 pictures at the hospital, using a digital camera. The pictures were more expensive than I usually spend---I think right around $60, but well worth it. Jory (my first son's) picture wasn't as cute. They did a good job. I'm happy with them.

DH & I went out and purchased a digital camera & photo printer this weekend. It's so fun to take pictures & print them right away. Anyone have any experience with putting pictures on a website? It'd be nice for the grandparents to see the pictures online rather than printing them all off or sending them individually as an e-mail (seems to take forever). If anyone knows of a good website server for this let me know!!!!

I'm feeling a little sore. I really, really, super dooper really want to start to work out. I haven't done my measurements since I was pregnant, I did weight myself at the hospital & at that time I had only lost 10 of the 30 pounds I had gained. 20 pounds scares the heck out of me!!!!
There is no way I'll be able to hold out until my 6 week check up to do Cathe's videos...

Melanie, realize part of the weight is probably water weight that you will lose quickly as well as all that other stuff. Take it easy especially after the csection even I took it easy til my 6 week check up. At 2 weeks I started back with just pregnancy tapes and post partum tapes. i cranked up a little at 4 weeks and really resumed at 6 week.

Did you have a csection with your last baby? I don't remember you stating that in your story. Hmmm. Maybe I forgot that part!

I only have one pregnancy video--it's the Fit42 Step video. I have some FIRM videos which would be lower impact as well. I was just wondering if I could try some plank work to help tighten up the muscles in abs. I might try to do a couple tonight. Nothing significant, just a couple of moves. I could also do some upper body weight training.

I won't begin working out for another week or so though. I don't want ot prolong recovery any longer than I have to. Just anxious to get into some jeans. ;) Also anxious to see that scale move down a little. I've already noticed that my upper abs are contracting--- I have my little dimple back that is right above my naval. I was wondering if I'd ever see that again!

Hi melanie,
I had an easy vaginal delivery but still followed doc's orders and took it easy. I know how us devoted catheites want to dive back in. I am now back in preprego jeans , although tummy still not flat, and all I did up til 6 week postpartum was fit for 2 and some firms, oh wait I did do rythmic step modified low at week 5. In otherwords, give yourself premission to take it easy.
