I was at a tag sale over the weekend and asked if they had any fitness equipment. The daughter said that she has an elliptical machine at her house up the road for a tag sale she was having the next day. I don't have a lot of space for equipment but as she's describing it, it sounds like it could work. Plus she said it's not that heavy so it wouldn't be difficult to put in my car. Is this sounding too good to be true?
The next day I went to her house (had a hard time finding it but I guess sometimes we have to work for good things, lol) and it seemed to be working o.k. It's an Orbitrek and she originally paid $400. Since it was sitting in her basement unused for awhile, it did have some rust on the screws and it needed some cleaning up. It's missing the monitor that calculates time and steps but I don't really need that plus I could always order it from the company if I want. I decided to buy it even though I wasn't really looking for an elliptical. (I guess this could replace my Brenda Dygraf stepper that I paid $45 for on clearance, lol. }( ) My friend helps me get it in the house and we clean it up and......IT WORKS GREAT!!!! So guess how much I paid for it. Dum dee dum dee dum dee dum......are y'all thinkin'? lol O.K. ready......10 Bucks!!!! Is this not the greatest thing? It fits perfectly in my workout area and it's not cumbersome and it's light weight and it's just amazing! I just love it when something like this happens. Guess what I did yesterday......returned that Brenda Dygraf stepper. Hmmmmmmm, $45 for a piece of ______ (fill in the blank) or $10 for an amazing piece of equipment. I'm flying high! :7
