Did any of you see Oprah yesterday? I never get to see it anymore but I did catch the end of the progarm where there was a gal singing a beautiful song about "daughters". It was called' "If You Get The Chance To Sit It Out Or Dance...I Hope You DANCE!!" I think the gal that sang it had a last name Womack?? (Forget her 1st. name) I think I found a new snipet to add to my signature. LOVED IT!! Listen for it.

Hi Debbie,
I love country music so that's a familiar song to me. Her name is Leigh Ann Womack. Or maybe she spells it LeAnn (I'm not sure of the spelling). I think she has a beautiful voice and her voice reminds me of Dolly Parton. She has a very bright future ahead of her.

Yes! I caught it at the end too. Leann Womack is her name...What a gorgeous song! My goodness. I just have a minute, I'm in gig-mode. I am headed out to a surprise 50th b.day party tonight--the family hired him a 25 pc. Big Band!! Wow, now thats a party and some serious dancing don't you think? should be fun.

It's O'dark hundred and I was just gonna roam in here a few minutes to wake up before a quick run and then off to church. BUT, I just got to tell you that I have this deal with the good Lord: When I die and go to heaven I get to be the lead vocal in a choir featuring allllllllll my favorite black gospel singers, Aretha included. This morning I get to sing Alabaster Box by Cece Winans---hope I can hold it together without blubbering. Not pretty. We all just gotta sing, even if we THINK we don't know how. It's just good mental health. That and chocolate and endorphins of course! Have a great Sunday :-jumpy!!!

I think I've seen that same "snipet" under other people's signatures over on VF! I didn't know what it was until I was flipping channels and caught her performing on the Country Music channel one day. Sounded great!

I have the cd alabasters box by cece. Love it!! I Love to sing, but it doesn't come out the way I think it does. I always say, it all sounds good to the Lord, don't you think?
