<---has been busy helping out with FIL due to hip replacement surgery due to a fall. Looong stay in hospital and rehab but he is coming along nicely. (he's 84)

<--- & DH got to get away last week to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Myrtle Beach for a whole week of relaxation.

<---misses you all MUCH and hopes to be around more.

<---says that ALL the time but truly wishes for it...let's wait & see!

<--- used to but grew weary of it, especially since he wears those awful long sleeve shirts with french cuffs, tall man, of course, with long shirt tails and sleeves
<--- got fed up one day after it took her 20 minutes to iron ONE shirt, so she loaded 'em up in the car and dropped them off at the cleaners, stuffed 'em through the drive thru window and said, "laundry with light starch, please", and has been doing that ever since:D
<--- approves of Ame's restaurant choice AND her standing Sunday night date with her DH
<--- 's mouth is watering over the acorn squash risotto:9
<--- 's DH called and was all excited because the doctor who hosted the conference also has an olive grove and he had his factory press a fresh bottle of olive oil for DH to bring home:eek: :)
<--- can't tell you how excited she is about ^^^:)
<--- better sign off and get ready for dinner with mommo and poppo

<--- is really signing off now, as soon as she tells Nance that she changed her mind about the scarf because she already has 3 or 4 and really doesn't need another one, but many thanks for the generous offer

<-- wonders why, if L&T has a reserve tag, they wouldn't have it in the store too and DT couldn't just go grab one and ditch the reserve tag if it came down to it
<-- talked to DH aboot Thanksgiving a little today and <-- emailed Mom aboot the advent calendar DH wants (and yes, he is not getting a chocolate one for the first time in about 35 years... he has graduated to a LEGO calendar!!), so <-- is feeling better aboot it being 80 degrees here for fall
