July RT--Amtrak Thurs. 7/24????

It just so happens that I was going to post an email if I didn't find this one. My plans have changed and I have an appt. in Philadelphia early Thursday morning so I figured I'd stay over Thursday night, have dinner and then join the Friday morning class.. I planned on going to the museum in Phila. after my appt. and could easily get to the train station at 5:00 so we could split transport to New Jersey. I just need to confirm that I can get into the hotel a day early.

Sonja, that would be wonderful! I you sure it's no bother??? If we could work it out, I'd appreciate it. Rapid Rover is pretty pricey when you're traveling alone from the train station.

I can PM you all my info, and I'll need to know your cell phone so that I can let you know when I'll actually be getting in...I've traveled Amtrak enough to know that they're usually late! My ETA, according to their schedule is actually 3:55.

Oh, and I saw your e-mail regarding Jai's restaurant. I hadn't really decided it about that.

No bother at all. This works perfectly. I will have all day in Philadelphia to do whatever I want, so I can be ready to meet you whenever you arrive. I'll probably be at the museum and will just jump in cab to get to 30th Street Station. You can email me at [email protected] and we can exchange numbers and whatnot. I'm familiar with Amtrak's tardiness, so we can just play it all by ear.

Which is cheaper, a cab or the Rapid Rover? The Rapid Rover is $65. We could split whichever one cost less, if you'd like.

Its probably close to the same. I'll check when I get into Phila. and give you a call before you arrive so we can make a decision.

We didn't hook up by email yet so let me just give you my phone number. I'm leaving tomorrow morning (thursday) and wont have access to the Internet. If you still want to meet me at Amtrak betwee 4 and 5, please give me a call either way.
