Attention Cathe Live Subscribers:

This Thursday, July 9th, at 9:15am EST, we will be doing "Compound Giant Sets--Light Weight" Live. Using a set of lighter pound dumbbells, we'll be doing seven consecutive compound exercises (giant set) for approximately 10 to 12 reps per exercise. We will repeat these seven exercises for a total of four rounds of giant sets. There will be very little rest between each exercise and at the end of each round there will be a slightly longer rest. This work out will increase your stamina, burn body fat and tone muscles.

Equipment needed for this workout:

Handweights: A set of 8''s (or slightly lighter or heavier)

A fitness mat

Thanks for another great one Cathe! I tried this one this morning and the sweat was just pouring off me but I loved every minute (kinda, lol). I did love all the standing ab work for sure, though. ;)
 
I just finished this one as well. I was feeling a little tired and thought I would do a "lighter" workout. Well, I picked the wrong one. I was sweating pretty good by round 2 and thought something was wrong until Cathe said "You should be getting good and sweaty now". So I guess I was right on track. This is definitely an endurance workout. My shoulders were burning by the end of the plank work. Another great live workout!!!
 
Yesssss! Totally agree with Kathy G and firemedic. This workout sneaks up on you and bites you in the you-know-what, and I mean that in the best possible way. Super fun and creative, and low impact to boot (well, except for the push-up combo). I will be doing this one again for sure!
