Goor morning ladies..

Well, I ate too much at dinner last night. But, it was so good. We went to a local Italian place that we wanted to try. So, today is cardio thank goodness. I need to work off some of that dinner...The rotation has step max on it. But, I may do one of the other classics since I did this one at the begining of the month..

Be back later..

Good Morning..Kathy!

Anniversaries are good for enjoying yourself and eating too much. I wouldn't be able to help myself at a good Italian restaurant for sure!..Wine and pasta!..YUM!. Last night I made a really good Pesto Pasta with red peppers and zucchini... I love pesto!! ... There are so many classics to choose from, I'm sure you'll find a goodie!.... Thanks for wishing me well yesterday, too.

No headache today, but I feel soooo wiped out and tired. My head is heavy feeling. My plan was for a shorter Interval workout today, so I think I'll do 1/2 of IM2. And then maybe a little yoga stretch afterwards. God, I'm tired. And I have DOMS in my back from ME yesterday too. Makes me want to curl up in a ball even more.

Hottie: Glad you found someone to help pass your time yesterday. That's how I make it through slow nights, crazy talks with my buddies at work!

to Beth, Vilma and Joanne (are you back yet?)

Morning all! Man, I ate like crazy when I got home. I just wanted to eat and eat and eat and that I did. It was a rest day which was good but Joe had a 5K this morning so that meant I woke up extra early because HE had to get up extra early. The good news is that I've gotten a ton of house chores done. The bad news is that I am super groggy. I have to drop by lab and I have an electrolysis session on the westisde again so if I don't get a work out in the next hour, I'm going to have to wait until the afternoon which is fine but usually works against me.

Kathy -- cardio is perfect post an anniversary dinner! Hope you enjoy yourself and sweat off all that Italian food.

Chris -- I think you and I feel the same way this morning...here's to both of us getting out of the sludge!

Hey Again!

hey Hottie!!

i ended up doing the 2nd half of IM2. When I only do 1/2, I love the 2nd half, because I have so much more energy for those blasts than I do when they're on the END of the workout. Fun!! And the music, THAT is the workout to do when you don't feel like doing one!! Plus, I get to do the Pina Coloda song, which always puts me in a better mood. I did the Extended Stretch from STS afterwards. it felt good, and I wish it was longer, because I felt like I could curl up and go to sleep at the end....

So Joe is running a 5K today? is it horribly hot there? I don't know how you guys do outside stuff this time of year there!... Hopefully you'll get something this afternoon. You'll feel better if you do!! ..... I think my body is pooped out from #1, My "TOM" is here (I don't get anything but completely wiped out since i'm on BCP's) and #2, I swear , think the drugs they gave me Wed did something to me. I've been getting so dizzy (mostly going from sitting to standing) lately.

That Beth must be sleeping in today! How dare you!!! :p

Good morning, early birds! I slept in until 6:40 or so, I guess it was. I guess it was a day for eating too much yesterday -- count me in. I did ok, but didn't realize our friends were coming down and mmmm-mmmm, there was some good food to be had. Wow!

I did cardio coach press play this morning -- over an hour and my hrm said I burned 640 calories! I'm not sure I believe that, but whatever, it was a good burn and a good workout. Hope you enjoyed your cardio, Kathy!

I have DOMs today, too, Chris -- I guess from the kettlebell workout I did the other day. I feel it in my upper back and my hamstrings.

My kids are still asleep! Well, I woke them up just now, and Travis got up but Dylan is still lazing. They were out on the rink until 9:30 last night. We haven't been able to skate on it because they've been working on it so much. Turns out they screwed it up and need to do more, so we're skating on it while we can since there will be another stretch of time that we can't.

Ok, I'm just babbling. Hottie, it's a great feeling to have gotten all that stuff done already this morning, isn't it?! Good luck at the lab!

gosh, I'm still sleepy. Yes, its good to get a bunch of things done though I would have PREFERRED to get a workout in instead but there was no way it was happening. Instead of napping I saved the world for another level while the new roomba took care of the gym room, hallway, and bathroom. That area is blocked from Evee so the usual war I have to moderate was reduced to a barking match. But Joe came back from the race -- he did it right under 26 minutes and for him that's AWESOME. Yeah, its freaking hot which is why the race started at 7a when its still in the low 70s.

I'm going to take him out to a celebratory breakfast/brunch in a bit and then its shopping lab electrolysis blah blah. Then when we get back stenciling on the walls!! This is the accent: http://www.royaldesignstudio.com/shop_stencils_detail.php?id=369. Not as fancy as that but the basic shape. We'll see -- today may be a functional workout day since I'm trying to get so much stuff done before my mother comes next week...

Chris -- Pina Colada and I growl at each other. I hear the song and I hear mocking. Not for the last blast but for that 9th blast. I'm still working on those plie jacks. But good for you!!!

Beth -- you need to sell CC to Joe -- he's being silly about it. Though right now he's on a high because of his race time and his new personal trainer Evee...

::yawn::....

Wow, congrats to Joe! That is great, especially with the warmth. Our fog came in, so even at almost 10:00 it's still fairly cool out -- nice, I like it!

That stencil looks really nice! How hard is that to do? You're very ambitious. Larry and I are lousy at any sort of improvements of that sort.......

I forgot to tell you -- at the mall the other day, yes, the Red Mango mall! -- there was a little kiosk with a woman doing that threaded hair removal -- I saw you commenting about it in another thread. How in the world does that work, anyway? Looks intriguing, but I just had to laugh when they asked me if I wanted a demonstration with my two boys in tow! It was all I could do to get them to wait in line with me at Sephora.

Adios Amigos!!

off to work, where who-know-what awaits me, where will I work? Who will I have? What kind of night will I have? How will I stay up all damn night when I'm so tired now??

How the hell have I been doing this for this long??

Have a good one, everyone, I'll try to stop in tomorrow !!

Hi ladies..

Chris: I hope you had a good night at work...Did you stay awake?

Anyway, today is Pyramid lower body...I am going to get to that soon. We went to church last night. So, I have the morning to get it done!

Be back later..

Hi guys -- yesterday was a productive but frustrating day. Third day in a row I didn't control my eating -- second day that I didn't work out at all. Today my friend from Seattle is dropping by and he's bringing donuts from the most heavenly donut place in all of the LA area. I am both excited and scared. The stenciling was a no go in the living room and dining room -- the walls are too uneven to do it cleanly. :( We have more hope with the back bedroom. But still very productive day -- ton of housechores, westside, lab, house projects, and I even took Evee to the groomers and now she's so pretty and soft I won't let her go to the dog park to get dirty!

On tap is another shot at Imax3 to burn off everything but we'll see how this day goes by...

Kathy -- go you on PLB! All of Cathe's lower body work scares me a bit you know!

Hi All!

Hottie That was some good timing for Joe on his 5K Good for him

Chris I absolutely need to get Imax 2 done here soon - I love it. Here's hoping you had a good, relatively easy night at work. TOM is soon approaching for me also and I am feeling the exhaustive feeling along w/ headaches Oh Joy!

Beth I am so intrigued about threading but in this area I have yet to find anyone who does it. Heck I do my own waxing anyway  Did it look less painful than waxing?
My sisters get threading done up in NYC and say it really is a great way for shaping the brows.

Kathy Nice choice for the lower half - I hope you got a great workout in this morning.

Joanne Hello! must still be on vacay - Good for you :)

Well yesterday I had to take my mom to the airport ::sniff - sniff:: and it was an early morning flight w/ a close to 2 hour drive. I already miss her :(

The past couple of days we have been fighting w/ our stupid internet and it just teases us - one moment we are live then the next we get that dreaded red bar telling us we are down . It seems we have this problem only during the warmer weather and I wonder if it has to do w/ all the kids off for the summer that swamp our area playing games? Ugh!

I also wanted to spend as much time with my mother before she left and we did that/. We seriously need to make a trip up to NYC one day soon. I miss my mom :(

So today I will be doing CCPP as I woke up really late ::ugh:: since the lightshow and noise we had last night kept me up and nervous. I hate it when it feels as if the entire house trembles.

Alright gals I hope everyone is doing well.

Hi All! Kathy, good work on PLB! I should get my pyramid disc back on Wednesday, so I'll have to get that on the schedule.....

Hottie, bummer about the stenciling!! Sounds like you got so much done yesterday -- terrific! On the eating -- I wouldn't sweat it -- every time I do, I just sabotage myself worse. Try to relax.

Vilma, I hope you enjoy ccpp this morning -- I had a great time with it yesterday and it finally felt as though I could probably add on a bonus challenge (but I did not! -- we had guests I felt like I needed to get home to). As for threading -- I think Hottie could answer better -- since it was being done right there in the middle of the mall, I'm guessing it's somehow not as painful as waxing.

I had a funny workout this morning -- I knew I wanted to do Jillian's NMTZ, but I also wanted to add in a little cardio, so to make it intense in a short amount of time, I decided to stick in that insanity preview disc again. I did the warmup, which was ten minutes. He just jumps right into the high intensity stuff. Then I stuck in Jillian and all through her warmup she's talking about how you can't jump right in, you need to start of gentle. Cracked me up. I think part of the insanity problem is that it does need an actual warmup -- I should have done Jillian's warmup, the insanity warmup, and then back to the weight work. In any case, it was a good workout and I didn't injure myself. :) I'm still sore from my kettlebell workout the other day!!!

Chris, how was work?

When I woke up this morning I was certain it was Monday and I was going to have to really hustle. I'm so glad it's Sunday. Enjoy your day, everyone.....

Vilma, I forgot to mention I can relate to your internet woes -- we've been having really bad problems, too. We somehow have a wireless line of site connection to our internet provider who is up the hill. Larry was about to give up on them and get a T1 line installed, but he went up on the roof yesterday and rearranged the antenna and it's much better now. You probably have some other method so cannot do this but just wanted to sympathize...... hope it gets better! And yes, a friend of ours who works at home says that once school lets out, his connectivity really takes a hit and he's sure it's because all the kids get home and start banging on it.

Hey Girls!!

Read all the posts but don't have much time...

Work was hard, I was sooooo fatigued and felt horrible all night, BUT... I did get to work on my own unit, and it was a quiet/nice night. So for that I'm thankful..... Suddenly at 6am, I started feeling better! Not that I wasn't tired, but my body and head weren't weighted down anymore. I think maybe I've snapped out of "it"? I hope so...

Because I have to do it again!!!

I've been daydreaming about what cardio to do tomorrow...I've yet to try Jillian Michaels. which one is a good ALL cardio workout, Beth? And how long is it?

Okay..gotta run, my salad is here...

Chris, you got all three Jillian's, right? BFBM is the only one that is all cardio. Shred has weights and cardio (3 min. weight, 2 min. cardio, 1 min. ab, repeat, I think is how it goes, though that one minute for ab seems so little as I type this) and NMTZ is all weights, but it has a heart rate factor to it sort of like lalo (that is, you work your legs as you're working your arms in compound moves).

Sorry to hear you're so fatigued..... get some rest, chiquita!

super pouty -- no workout, lots of eating..but lots of housechores. I can't wait until tomorrow where I'm back on a "work schedule" -- have you guys eaten so much for so many days in a row where you FEEL like you're you deserve every pound you gain. And its like the exact opposite I wanted before my mom came. Oh well. Maybe I'll do pilates before I go to bed or something but for now just trying to destress and keep house and go to lab...I hope you did snap out of it Chris! Now its my turn!!!
