Good morning ladies..

I was a little busy yesterday...I did squeeze in Legs and glutes and ab circuits weights and plates..Today is cardio & weights!!

Talk to you later..

Hey where is everyone? Hope everyone is doing well today...

Checking back with Cardio & weights done..

Be back later..

Hey Kathy -- awesome on C&W. It has a special place in my heart for me as it was what turned me on to Cathe. I did KCM's vertical step boxing segments and then did PC1. Off to shower and head late into work. I love heading late into work...

Happy Monday!!

I actually had a VERY nice weekend at work. Even though the stress of the impending changes and working on different floors is constantly eating at me. *sigh*. But at least it was quiet, we got NO admissions and the patients were actually all pretty stable.

Kathy: You're getting in some good workouts! I haven't done Legs & glutes in forever! I did do C&W last month when I was doing the circuit rotation. it's different and I enjoy the step and of course "buttercup"...

Hottie: Saw you did IM3 Yesterday!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! And you did Ellen Barrett Pilates? Is it the same one as me, Burn & Firm Pilates? I like that one! Did you wear ear muffs so you couldn't hear her voice? LOL!... Question answered from the weekend. I think Chalene is a different level than Cathe. I don't think her TJ's are quite as intense, but it's because they are a different KIND of workout (more dancey/kickboxy). And the main thing is, they're not as long. You can kick up the TJ intensity just be moving faster too. I always drip in sweat at the end, but also feel like I had a little fun too.

Vilma: You are making me want to get those Squeeze workouts!!! I've thought about them in the past. Do you have all of them? or which one would you recommend getting first?

Beth: You're coming home today? Hope you had a nice weekend!! can't wait to hear about it. I bet Gina is glad to see you !! (and you, her!)

I'm switching up my workouts this week, since I have the Colonoscopy on Wednesday. I'm going to do a circuit today, I think I may tackle the premix from BM2 . The other thing is my Jillian Michaels DVDs came this weekend, so I'm debating on doing one of those, but then afraid it won't be intense enough. And then again, I did PH on Friday, and thought it didn't push me for some of it as much as it could have, but had some MAJOR DOMS from it on Sat/Sun!! Surprising!!

Okay... better get moving....

Hey Hottie! Have a great day at work..

Chris: Glad you had a great weekend; even though you had to work..Oh, colonoscopy! Don't envy you there. Haven't had one yet and don't look forward to that day..Enjoy your new DVDs..Legs & Glutes was a good one..My outer thighs are feeling the effects! LOL

Beth: Hope you had a fun weekend..

We're home! Yes, Gina was so excited to see us. She'd been adopted and sent back so many times in her life before we got her that I think she'd been abandoned again. We were very happy to see her.

We had a good time, but man was it crowded, and everything was booked. We ended up paying $270 for one night in a trailer-park trailer that was made to look like a cabin that was cheek to cheek with other trailers and campsites!!! Insane! I guess that's where everyone goes for the weekend. We had a couple of nice hikes, we had a mile hike to the beach and then a really nice time on a beach, and we did go to the aquarium this morning. We are not used to being in crowds and didn't last long -- none of us could stand the crowds. Happy we got away, but happy to be home. I guess that's a successful vacation.

One thing -- man am I out of shape! This is just completely crazy -- I can run for an hour once a week, but the wimpy little hikes we took made me feel really tired! What is wrong with me?! Did you guys get tired with the walking you did on vacation?

Chris, glad to hear work wasn't so bad this weekend. Good luck with your prep tomorrow!! I can't remember when you start, but it must be tomorrow, right?

I've got to get things back in some sort of order here -- we just walked in the door. Wanted to check my mail to see if the babysitter can come tomorrow, but then my mail froze, so I came here. :)

Beth: I get the same way when we go sightseeing in DC. I got out of breathe running up the metro stairs and walking and walking with hills. I felt so out of shape. I thought what would happen if I didn't workout?! Glad you got away..that was an insane price!

Hey Guys!..

I ended up doing BM2 Cardio & Weights premix. As much as it kicked my butt, it did NOT literally kick my butt, since there was no lower body work! All upper. Oh well. I toyed with the idea of doing lower body weights on the end, but didn't, since I'd already been working out for 70 minutes! I think I'll do Kickmax w/ the leg drills for my cardio on Thurs, and then weight stuff on Friday. I'd love to run some time too?!!? Maybe that run will be coming tomorrow night, to and from the bathroom!:eek:

Kathy: I'm jealous of your lower body work today! LOL!. Yeah, my dad died of colon-rectal cancer, so I have to go eveyr 5 yrs for colonoscopies. This will be my second. Joy joy! Actually, the test itself is CAKE, they give you nice drugs to make you sleepy and happy. It's the prep and the thinking about the prep that sucks the most! LOL!...

Beth: Welcome back!!!! Oh, we hate crowds too!... We've worked weekends and done activities during the less crowded weekdays for so many years now, I can't tolerate crowded weekend stuff for beans. The area where you went and the hikes sound wonderful though. Did the kids enjoy it? I bet camping "out" was fun (though expensive!). ... I am always amazed how out of breath *I* get going up a few flights of stairs at work. Or at the mall, or whatever. I did ok walking at Hershey, though. But we didn't have hills, etc. to go up and down. I'm almost better when I run ... When I took the boys to the park, and we walked around, I was tired, But once I got to run up the duck pond stairs (chasing the boys), I swear, I felt revived! Maybe it's the slower pace we're not used to?

Yep, I do clear liquids all day tomorrow and start my fun prep tomorrow night! At least it's pills this time. That gallon of soapy-salt water just wasn't going to cut it for me this time. BlecH! I suffer on clear liquids to get away from that crap! (pun! LOL!)
