July '05 Rotation: 07/26

Good morning,

This morning I did Day 2 of the rotation, but instead of doing the SJP Step premix, which I'd done yesterday in lieu of the SJP hi/lo, I did SB w/u, combos 1 & 2, and the c/d, stretch. SB is such a fun workout. I can't wait until I can do the entire thing as produced again. I subbed the SJP ab work with the ab work on Christie Taylor's Totally Hot Step dvd (which I did on the stability ball, rather than the floor).

Dana - I can see how the heatwave can throw a wrench into your workout plans. I hope your a/c is able to lower the inside temps to something reasonable for today's workout. I also hope you're feeling better! Like you need something else to drain your few energy stores.......

Hi! I am visiting family right now, but did manage to exercise yesterday. Although it was not the workout that I was supposed to do, I did Body Fusion plus 10 minutes of abs. Today, I am going back to my home in the evening. I am going to swim at my sister's pool today-so I may not get a chance to get a workout in. If that's the case, I will just exchange today for a day off, since Sat and sun are days off.

Last night I did the step portion from SPJ, abs (what I could do and some of the planks) and the stretch. That is the first time that I've done the step portion of it and I really enjoyed it and the time flew by. I've had this DVD for the longest time but I never use it. I"m glad that I did - I think that the step portion will be great to use in the July rotation when I need to find a sub.
 
I did Basic Step last night. I tried doing the abs, but it's a no go - to much ligament pulling, which has pretty much been the experiance I've had every time I try abs in this pregnancy. So I don't think I'll be trying abs again, my dr said not to exercise my abs where they are sore. That's ok, I don't expect to have rock hard abs in November anyway! ;-)
