Good morning to you too Vilma...Just getting on to say hi. Then, I am off to start today's workout. I am doing Body Max today...That is the punishment, I mean that is the workout for me after all the horrible eating lately..If I could just control that I might see results from my workouts....I do well for a few days and then boom..another bad day!!

I guess that is the struggle most have!!

Hi Kathy, have fun with BM whoa!

I'm here waiting for my motrin to kick in and today I will finally get off my TOM arse and workout!

I totally dislike it when my body doesn't feel what my mind and desire wants to do but today I'm feeling soooo much better and slowly like myself again so I hope to bang out a good sweaty WO! I need it to better my mood.

I plan on a circuit or total body today; won't decide until I pop the dvd in.
 
Hi Everyone! I did Dove #4 today and then because I feel like I need to be on the ball with Cathe's stepping, I did combos 1-3 of step blast. Well, truth be told, I didn't get through quite all of the third combo. I'm a dripping, tired mess! :)

Kathy, I know what you mean about feeling the need to punish yourself -- I'm sort of in that mode too. I think tomorrow I will punish myself with ME, or maybe a circuit -- like you, Vilma, I may not know until I stick in the dvd. I would really like to do drill max but my friend has it! The sad thing is, she probably isn't even using it..... Once I'm back from the road trip I'm doing to write up some sort of rotation because it doesn't quite feel right deciding things on the fly.

Beth: Great job!! I don't have any friends that workout with Cathe or FIRM. So, I don't have to lend them out. I really hate to be without them. I sent some to my sister in Florida once. They were ones I didn't really use too often. I really missed them. It seemed I always wanted to do those workout. I am not a good lender!!

Vilma: Have a great workout. Hope the motrin has kicked in....


Ok..I am done with today's workout. Thanks goodness. I really feels good to have Body max done. But, I was dreading it. I was dripping. I always sweat so much more with this workout. BM2 is a sweaty mess. But, BM is worse!! Anyone else think that way too??

Hey, I noticed that some have created a social group based on their checkins. Should we do that too?
 
Hi All, I'm back and finally ended up doing C&W.

For today it was perfect , lite and easy. Got my HR up , burned enough calories and woke my muscles up :)

Motrin helped Thanks Kathy ;)

I noticed those social groups and was wondering about them.

I just don't want to feel I'm excluding anyone but I can see the need for them esp when wanting to share personal photos and not wanting the entire world to see them.

I wonder how they work, hmmmmm

Hi Girlssss!!!

I tried and tried to get in here under my old username and email and passowrd, but I never got an email back (even though it kept SAYING they sent me one). I saw on the Help Forum I'm not alone... So I signed up with a new name. Until my old one works again...

I've missed you guys though!

No one else understands my workouts like you !!! :eek:

So I finished off last week's rotation, mixing it up just with the days of my workouts, but did it all. I'm really pleased with this rotation .... Once again, I got a "You are looking thinner" comment at work! :D :D Gotta love that! And I really have some major definition in my shoulders, back and arms.

As far as this week, I decided (omg..why is this so hard to do???) to take a "rest week". I haven't had one since February. So, I'm more than due for one. BUT... I miss is already, and today is only day one! I want to LIFT and SWEAT. We're also leaving for vacation tomorrow (Going to Mystic CT and the Rhode Island Beaches), so it's a good week to take. I plan on doing whatever I CAN on vacation (walks, treadmill at the hotel, I will also bring some Yoga and Pilates and Turbo Jam workouts with me). But obviously no weight work...

Vilma ... Sorry to hear that TOM has gotten the best of you the past few days!!! I know TOM (the first day of cramps was KILLER) and PMS was kicking my BUTT badly before my GYN suggested I start up on taking the Birth Control pills to help with the symptoms. And that has helped 100% !! I don't even have a period anymore :D

So I'm terribly jealous of all your workouts today.... Wish I was YOU!

Off to cook some supper.... and then PACK... but I'm sure I'll be back here, procrastinating, because I do that best!!

Chris! I was looking around for you and wondering when you'd get on here.

I'd figured you were one of many who have been having issues trying to get in.

Glad you finally found your way back!

I was just talking to my DH about maybe talking to my doc to see what I can do about TOM I can see my cycle is starting to feel different and changing- its been horrible but I'm feeling better today thank God!

How cool is that about the comments your getting at work- that always helps brighten up your day :)

Chris, I so what you mean about how hard it is to take a rest week, but I was just thinking this morning that I think I feel stronger after just the few days off I had when I was at Tahoe (and poison oak). I think for me, even if I just take a break from lifting now and again it'll be a good thing, but I know what you mean -- it's so hard not to just get up and do a workout!!!

Have a great time on your vacation -- I hope you're able to post pics later.

Re: the social group -- I'll join, but I'm still feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of this functionality!!

I would love to make one. Does anyone know how they work? What is the difference between having a group and just starting a new thread? Anyone have any thoughts.

Chris: Great to see you again!! Way to go on the skinny comments. I have a hard time with resting too. I feel like I am gaining weight by the day since I am not working out. We go to Florida next week to visit family. It is so hard to workout there. I just know I am ending up with a rest week then!!

I found the check in :rolleyes: I hope this is the right one. I joined the monthly rotation social group. Is this where we will continue to meet??? Just trying to get used to all the "NEW" stuff we now have.

Lori: This is the correct thread...Just look for the day and date...This is the thread for yesterday...Vilma is usually the first one on as she is an early riser...But, all of us have started the threads. Just look for the same title with the days date...

Glad to have you in the group!!
