Journalize Your Journey

Hi Gang,

Was wondering if anyone would be interested in yet another forum. I would name it "Journalize Your Journey" and then tack on the date afterwards. A very simple idea really; post your workouts for the day, express how you are feeling or not, (good or bad) and why, also ways to improve.

Rules: This would be your journal, and your journey, just record it. That way you can look back to see the progress you've made.

If you are interested let me know. The only thing is, I couldn't be the only one to start it off, because I don't get up until 8-9 am., kinda late for everyone else. Let me know what you all think. Come to think of it, doesn't matter what time of day anyone journalizes. Does it?

Hi Janie! :) Just wanted to say I think I am at just the right level with two check-in's and could not handle anymore, but I LOVE your idea and think it is wonderful! I hope you get many responses! I will certainly be a lurker on this thread when it gets started.

Just wanted to say congrats on what you have done to continually stay inspired yourself and to be an inspiration to others.

See ya' at Yoga and Hardcores!

Janie,

Would this be like a check in? I checked out on a VF check in because I felt like I had reply to each and every post. Not that I don't read and root for each and every poster and their posts. But, it can be very time consuming. The guilt that would ensue if I didn't comment or accidentally left someone out.

I don't mind posting my journal. I was actually thinking of starting one on paper.

This would be a place to journal, and wouldn't have to reply at all if you didn't want to. Just something to record your daily workouts and maybe how you are feeling at the time, and look back to see how you progressed and where to improve. For me, that's what I would do most of the time. Everyone feels sometimes the need to express themselves or get feedback from someone else, and that's fine to, but journalizing/recording what I do daily, is the point I want to get across. Don't feel like you have to respond to anyone.

By looking at others journals, you could be inspired to perhaps work harder, maybe not so hard...get ideas for a rotation that fits you...Stuff like that there.

Thanks Janie,

It must sound selfish of me to shy away from another check in. I don't mind replying or commenting. I just don't want to feel obligated or guilty if I don't. I do like the idea of seeing what other people are doing and how they are progressing!

6swans4me,

It's only a check in if you want it to be. I understand not wanting to feel obligated by not responding, but you don't have to. Just journalize.

Don't feel like you must join in, you are not selfish one bit. Perhaps lurking will be good until you feel up to it.

I think I'm going to try it. It would be great if anyone else wants to join. All are welcome. If there is no interest, all is not lost, it just dies, no biggy.
