January 2015 Jogglers

I took today as a rest day because I drove my mom into town for a dental appointment. Afterwards we spent the day shopping for shoes. I bought a pair of silver Birkis from the Birkenstock store downtown and I stopped at the co-op. And then we had lunch at an Asian restaurant.

I Did an upper body workout on Monday. Tuesday was a rest day. Yesterday I ran 3.5 miles. The weather was pleasant and I could wear shorts. Tonight will be a strength/cardio workout. I am doing 3 couplets using a rep pattern of 21-25-9 but I can't remember the exercises. Then some jump rope and ab work.

Alisha - I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the workout.

Tricia - I didn't think I could find anywhere that paid me what I was currently making but I did. It never hurts to look around. I found out that a VP from my old job resigned. I was surprised because he is best buddies with the owner but I guess he was tired of not getting paid!
 
I was very busy yesterday, I took Mom to the dentist on Tuesday. I had a problem with a bad pork roast yesterday ( returned it twice finally asked for my money instead of replaced). Today I did 2 segments from 10 minute solution 5 day mix with Amy Bento, kickboxing and balance compound strength. Then I did 20 minutes of foam rolling.

Jane remind me, do you use a real rope or imaginary? I don't use a real one anymore I get caught in the real ones:p

Alisha, I use a regular jump rope but I workout outside so if I did it inside I would use an imaginary one. Sometimes I get tangled up in them but I tend to jump really fast.

Today was an 11 mile run. It was pretty good. I ended up running most of it by myself as my sister is having knee issues. So I ran a bit over 9 miles and ran back home and ran around the block 4 times since it is a 1/2 mile loop. My other sister was over and she ran 2 loops with me.

Glad you feel good and had a great yoga workout.
 
I had a chiropractic appointment yesterday. :confused:So, I am taking a rest day.

I have been working out. Monday was an upper body workout with some swings and some abs added in. Yesterday was a rest day. Today will be a 3 mile run.

Alisha-hope you feel better after your chiropractic appt. What is on tap for today?

I am still recovering from my chiropractic appointment. My leg is a lot better. I guess I overstretched it.
