January 2014 fat loss

Good morning Ladies. This week has wizzed by. Tuesday, my workout was MIC, which I think had been over two years since I had done it. It was much easier than I remembered it being. Wednesday was B&G. Yesterday was RK, which is my first repeat cadio since starting this round of STS. I just don't have enough kickboxing to get me through. It was really nice digging up the oldies, but now I'm craving some of the newer stuff. My cardio repeat moratorium is now over. :)

So I've been practicing my daily five minute meditations, and I've concluded that my brain is just too busy for this stuff. I'll continue to practice, but it's proving to be a complete failure. This is the exact reason I love difficult choreography during a workout. It's a forced vacation from mind wandering and worry.

Diana, good luck on your run this weekend. I hope it's warming up where you are. How do you ever get through chest flyes with 38's? You must have amazing arms! :)

Sue, I hope your return to working out is going well. Check in when you can. :)
 
Hi Ladies,

My weight was up .6 at my weigh in. I've hit a plateau and need to figure out how to get the weight loss going again. I'm sure the cleanse will help but that's another week away.

We are getting snow, 6-8 inches expected. Not sure if they will cancel/reschedule the superbowl run. I don't want to run in the snow/cold.

Tina-MIC was one of my first Cathe's. It kicked my butt for many years. I did it recently too and found it a tad easier than I remembered! That's awesome that you haven't had any repeat cardio w/o's. To be honest, my chest & back are strong but biceps are my weakest link. I'm finally starting to see some definition in my arms, more so along the shoulders/triceps...biceps...not so much. I've tried meditation in the past but have struggled with it. It seems we are so busy and have so much going on that it is hard for us to free our minds. I'm not discounting it, I just haven't been able to do it long enough to reap the benefits.
