Getting us started this morning...I plan to do Athletic Step later today....Busy Monday as usual with drawing lessons and CCD tonight..

Hi Kathy, and all! Good Monday morning! Wow was it tough to get out of bed today! I stayed longer than I should have. My workout was chest/shoulders/triceps (meso 2), which I was dreading anyway. Just afraid to do that chest work again since that's how it all started.... anyway, I stayed in bed so long I ended up skipping one tricep exercise completely. Oh well!!
Kathy, I hope you enjoy athletic step again!

Have to keep this short this morning.... running late. Chris, are you ok? Never saw anything from you yesterday that I recall (not even fb!).

Hey Girls!

Phsewww! What a weekend! I'm pooped. I was soooo tired/fatigued last night at work. To the point of feeling like I was going to throw up. I even thought I was getting the flu or something, because I REALLY felt sick to my stomach, But it was just tiredness. ... Work itself was ok. Busy spurts. No crazy patients. I did have one guy that was 56, who was in because he had to have his SECOND leg amputated due to uncontrolled diabetes. He had 2 above the knee amputations. he was hispanic, and called all the girls "mama". I liked him alot. Poor man.

Yesterday was busier than usual since we started making our own dinner instead of take-out on Sundays. well, *I* made our own dinner. ..I made subs for everyone, so it took more time. Still, it saved us about $20-$30, so well worth it!

So today I started a new rotation. Not sure if you remember, but I'm going to do Cathe's January rotation, but use GS and 4DS workouts. Today I did GS: Back Shoulders Biceps. All I can say is WOW! :eek: , that band REALLY burns. I suppose I wasn't 100% because of little sleep and being tired, but it was a tough workout for me.

Kathy: Yep, Athletic Step is definitely a keeper! Love that one too! My boys just headed out the door for CCD. Thankfully Greg is the one to run around on Mondays.

Beth: So you did ok with the workout? Did you go lighter on shoulder stuff? I'd be anxious about doing it too, I don't blame ya!

Gotta go shower and figure out supper. I have NOT a clue what to make today or even what I have in the frig!

Our traffic is so low perhaps we should make a weekly thread! :) Hope everyone is ok -- just busy.

Chris, it's actually the chest presses I'm most afraid of -- I'm sure it was that that hurt me. I backed way off the weights for them today, yes. It was all fine -- I'm still going to have some doms, I can tell!

Sorry you were so tired! That sounds awful. Were you able to sort of take it easy today? I'm making quiche for dinner -- meatless Monday -- it gives me some way to narrow down the choices. :D

Oh, and yes, that band work really hurts sometimes! I was very glad I had no band work today.

I'd better go check on dinner......

Take it easy today? LOL! Not as easy as I'd like I guess. Hey, we had eggs for dinner too. I made a veggie oven omelet and hard boiled eggs for the boys.

Yes, those chest presses are tough on the shoulders. I always think of you when I do them Beth!..

The band KILLED me today, maybe because I wasn't used to using it..


Better get myself to bed!
