I've got 2 weeks - help.....

OK Gang - challenge for you,

I've got two weeks to get my body in 'at least' better form than now. I'm not expecting miracles, but any advice would be great! My husband and I are going away to a hotel for a weekend getaway. He bought me a slinky nightie from Victoria Secret and gave it to me as a 'gift' for our weekend. (obviously this is more of a gift for him) :)

Anyway, does anybody have any good rotations, ideas, diet plans, etc. that you have found to help you show the quickest results. :)

Thanks, Marcia ;)

I would do anything that builds you up. I have seen the most visible results with any weight training tapes. Muscle Endurance, Power Hour, PUB and PLB would be my first choices. Cardio is great for the long haul but if you are going for looks, nice legs and arms, I would pump up. I still have weight to lose, but I can SEE the muscles in my legs when I wear shorts, and I can SEE shoulder muscles. Regardless, any fat that I have is no where near as "jiggly" with all the muscle right there. I FEEL stonger, so the end result is that you also feel more attractive.

Enjoy your weekend! How sweet that he has planned ahead enough to get you something special for it as well. It has been years since we have done anything like that, but it sure is wonderful when you are able to make it happen.

I also recommend candles for a hotel. No matter how nice they can be, there is still a staleness that a candle can go a long way to remedy. Not to mention ambiance. When we went to Disneyland, with the kids, I took several of the Glade votives......something with a rose sort of smell I think. It really put out the scent, and was nice to make the room feel more homey.

Thanks for the ideas. I will give those a try. :)

The candle idea is awesome!!! I love candles anyway and that will definitely help with those 'stinky' rooms. :)

Thanks.

I don't "do" rotations, but here are a couple of Cathe mish-moshes that I find to be major skinnifiers, sweat factories and leaner-outers:

Circuit Max with barbell leg circuits only; then
CTX Kickbox ab routine

My patented "Oh My Mish-Mosh":

Rhythmic Step or I-Max 1 warm-up
CTX Power Circuit circuit segment
Boot Camp cardio+lower body only premix; then

CTX Kickbox prone/supine planks and roll-ups PLUS
Slow and Heavy traditional ab routine

My patented "Hi-Lo Heaven Mish-Mosh":
MIC warm-up and hi/lo segment
CTX 10-10-10 hi/lo segment
Boot Camp cardio only premix; then

Some limited lower body strength work, your choice

CTX Kickbox prone/supine planks and roll-ups PLUS
Cardio+Weights ab routine

(Note: I've discovered the Hi-Lo Heaven mish-mosh also gives you a lot of unexpected core work as well, so following it up with some kickbutt abs really gives you a great extended ab workout.)

Do whatever you want for upper body, perhaps Body Max upper or the CTX Upper Body Split DVD.

Good luck!
