It's so hot.....

My clock stopped working

I burned my bottom on the bench

My cd player doesn't work right...hit #2 cd and it plays #4, etc.

My water is very warm to drink after several minutes from getting cold water from frig.

Add about 200% humidity to the heat, a $500 (on a good month) a month light bill and hurricane fears and you can call yourself a "Texan".......hahahaaaa:7 :7 :7

We live in the Pacific Northwest where the climate is mild. I feel so sorry for the rest of you with all that miserable heat. Please try and stay cool.

OMG we have a heat index of 113 today. It's like getting hit in the face when you open the door.

And I am prepping myself for the dreaded leg workout as I type......

The weather has been quite odd this year. I know most of you guys up north do not have to deal with this much heat, so I can only imagine how yucky it is.

Try to stay cool! Drink lots and lots of H20!!!

I stuck my toe in my pool which was covered all day, and it was burning hot....so I got the hose out and put cold water in it..

I'm having a most beautiful, wonderful day.:p }(

A rain storm just passed through and it's only in the low 70's, the air conditioner has been off all day, the window's are open, a cool breeze is a blowin'. I'm like loooOOOooving it!!! I might even go on a little bike ride. Un-heard of this time of year at 3:00 in the afternoon.

It's been in the 100's lately and this is a real treat.

...I don't turn on the hot water to take showers. It is already warm! Then again, I live in sunny South Carolina. It was pretty hot here and still is hot!!

....I workout upstairs, so I sweat double as much. One from working out with cardio and Cathe. And second from the heat rising from being upstairs in the room over the garage. Even with the a/c, ceiling and portable fans goin. Then, again, I live in sunny South Carolina.

...My iced tea becomes hot tea before I even began brewing it.

Ahhh, I live in sunny South Carolina!

Hi Annette,

I live in "Sunny South Carolina" too, and you're right the heat is just unbearable right now. My poor DH has to work in the heat everyday, he makes sure to stay as hydrated, and keeps his hat on! UGH! Where's the relief?

..the lights keep blinking both at home and at the office, and I'm perpetually afraid that they're just not going to come back on!

I'm in Canada. You know, the land of parkas and dog sleds?;)

It was 115 yesterday with the heat index. Today looks to be about the same.

I got home last night, prepared to take the dog out as he'd been inside all day, opened the front door and he just looked at me like "are you crazy? I'm not going out there!"
