RE: Grandma Debbie!!!!

I'm so glad that everything went okay. I know Debbie is relieved that it's over. Birth is such a wonderful experience. It really is incredible!

I can hardly wait for pictures too!!!!

RE: Grandma Debbie!!!!

Yippee!!! Thanks for letting us know. Now I can admit it: I was secretly kind of hoping for a girl! Congrats Debbie, Julie & entire family! What is her name, how much did she weigh, how long is she, what colour is her hair? Can't wait for the pics!!

I knew it!!! Before I clicked over to this conference, I said "It's a Girl", and then your post was there, Honeybunch! Thanks for relaying the info for Debbie. :)
I bet that little dumpling is so sweet :)

Congratulations, Debbie and family!

It's a girl! Next Generation of Cathe Fans!

Thanks HB! Latest recipe..bad, bad, bad...therefore, good, good, good

All best wishes for DebbieH and family. I have a vision of Debbie introducing this precious little granddaughter to Cathe tapes in about 10 years. Forget 10 years, I'm willing to bet the granddaughter is already doing low end squats!

FWIW, my uncle, who didn't start running until he was 50, then got into it in a big way, marathons, etc. introduced me to running, when I was close to 40. He was my trainer and those hours spent running with him mean more to me than he may ever know. He so enjoyed introducing me to running, as I can image Debbie will relish introducing her granddaughter to Cathe, spinning, whatever!

Combined with the obvious unqualified love Debbie has for her granddaughter, is there any better legacy to pass on?

Thanks HB!

Thanks so much for relaying my message! Thank you everyone for all your kind and warm words. It means so much to me. Here is the info on the most beautiful baby in the nursery!!

Kennedy Lynn was born on June 12, 2001 @ 3:21 A.M.
She weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces(same as her birth date 6-12-01)
She is 20 inches long
Ruth, her hair is black!

I am hoping to post some pix in the next couple of days if I can figure out how to do it. I want to share her with you all since you were all such a great supprt to me when I thought the special day would NEVER arrive. Mom & Dad are doing very well as are Nana & PaPa! Just wait til you see her. I could (& have) hold her for hours and just stare at her. There is nothing like a newborn. We are so thankful for her healthy little body and that Julie's labor and delivery went so well. She was only in labor for 6 1/2 hours!:7 Again, thank you so much and hopefully, pix will follow soon.

RE: Thanks HB!

Oh Debbie, she sounds just beautiful...you are right, there is nothing like a newborn. Hold her & stare at her all you can, she will change so quickly! Luckily, she'll just get more & more lovely!

Lucky Nana, I am so jealous! She was almost born on my son's birthday, which is today. I forget the exact dates - is she a Gemini?

Can't wait to hear more as the days & weeks go by. Pictures!!!

Congratulations to Julie & her hubby whose name I don't know...

VERY Best Wishes, Ruth

Thank you Ruth!

Her birthday is June 12th. and her proud Daddy's name is Scott! And, what a great Daddy he is. He also just holds and stares at her. It's been fun to watch him and Julie bond with this precious little being. I'm proud to say that they will make wonderful parents. I'm still working on the pix!!

RE: Thank you Ruth!

Kennedy will be in school before you know it....you just blink and they are 5! Your kid's kids will age a lot faster than your kids did. Maybe it's because WE are aging faster, or does it just seem that way?!;-)

You are Nana? I am "Bubbe" which is Eastern European for "grandmother." Yiddish, Serbian, etc.

Stay Tuned You All!

Alli is doing me a HUGE favor by posting pix of Kennedy in the next day or so. I can hardly wait to share her with you all!! THANK YOU, Alli, soooo much!! :7

Hey HB!

You are so right! My Mom used to say that the years go by faster the older you get. She was RIGHT! I know that Kennedy will be ready for school before I know it. I plan to enjoy every minute leading up to it though! ;-) I'm thinking Nana at this point. I was asking Julie yesterday as I held Kennedy~Did I look like a grandma, a nanna, a Nana-Deb??? I told her I want it to "FIT"! David definitely looks like a Papa when he holds her! Enjoy your grandkids, Bubbe!
