itrain...WOW!!

I've just recently discovered the itrain series and all I have to say is WOW!!! I did my first one yesterday...an itread (set 5/40 minutes) and it was the best treadmill workout I had ever done...UNTIL...I did iclimb (set 5/40 minutes) today...and THAT was by far the best treadmill workout I have ever done.

I was pretty wiped after the itread yesterday and I decided to give the iclimb a try as more of a "recovery" cardio workout today since I had just planned on walking. Well needless to say I felt more wiped after today's workout than yesterday's!! Like I said for the majority of the workout I walked and then every time he said to up the resistance I just upped the incline...I did run on the sprints though, but not at a super fast pace or anything. I was completely drenched when I got off of the treadmill.

These are the best things ever invented I think!! I haven't been able to run too much outside these days due to the crazy heat and humidity here so I broke down and decided to try these...I'm really glad I did. It definately redefines the concept of a cardio machine workout. The time flew by and it was not at all boring!!

Just wanted to share :D .

Hey, Deni -
Thanks for the post! I just bought an elliptical trainer, which is iTrain-compatible. Looks like I need to check it out!

Can anybody compare / contrast these with cardio coach? TIA

Shannon...try some of the iClimbs for your Elliptical...:)

Lorrie...I have done a few of the iTread and iClimb workouts and they are tough and awesome. I downloaded 2 Cardio Coaches...I can let you know the comparison tomorrow...:)

iTrain is really good...:)

Actually Lorrie...I've been wondering the same thing about how these compare to Cardio Coach. I've also been looking at the Runervals, and wondering about the differences with those as well.

Thanks ladies - look forward to your thoughts tomorrow Carole!

I've done Coach Troy (Spinervals - not runnervals, though), iTrain and Cardio Coach and I actually prefer iTrain. I get a better workout iTrain, and I think the music is better. I also like that they are targeted. The cardio coach is for any machine. But, honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. They are all great workouts.
