Okay, after groceries, I went to put some meat in our freezer (12 noon) and dropped a pkg of bacon on the floor, I didn't notice until 4:30 pm. I put it in the freezer then, do you think I should toss it?

If it had some chill to it, it is probably ok. If it felt warm or even room temperature...tos it!

Hey sherry,

THROW IT AWAY!!!! I work with and know of sanitation of food. And you really need to get rid of this. Every 20 mins. it is left out bacteria doubles and then the next 20 mins. it triples. So it is dangerous to keep it.
