Is this an example?

Almost done with week 6 of the beginning rotation, and already lost 5 inches, no pounds but at least the inches are coming off slowly...But in 6 weeks one would think the scale would change...

Plateau is driving me crazy x(

I have to say I haven't found out exactly how to eat clean yet...

Is this an example?: 1 egg, 3 egg whites (scramble), 1 wheat bread, 1 fruit for breakfast, 1 turkey sandwich (turkey, lettuce, tomato) with lite mayo and mustard for lunch, completely unsure for dinner, I've been using Weight Watchers menus for that, such as, oven cooked fish breaded, with oven cooked potatoes cut french fry style, with lite salad dressing... OR turkey burger for meatballs and 1/2 c. spaghetti tomato sauce, then 2% cheddar cheese with non-fat, saltines for a late night snack.

I have kept a food diary for a long time but just can't get it right...

Are you watching your portions?

I would suggest that you up your fiber intake. You're not eating many veggies, or whole grains that I can see. You could trade the saltines for a cracker with more fiber, or go to a whole wheat tortilla. If you up your fiber intake, you'll take in no more calories; will find that your food volume can go up; and you won't get as hungry.

Have a big salad for lunch instead, and start incorporating some high fiber cereal in the morning instead of the eggs.

Canned count, but I find that the fresh ones keep me fuller longer. Salads take a long time to eat, too, and that helps you get and stay full.

I'd add more raw fruits and veggies (especially green veggies) to this and eliminate (or reduce) processed foods like saltines (nutritionally nil).

just watch for the salt/sodium. when i can't get fresh i opt for frozen. my daughter prefers frozen broccoli actually. she likes how it comes out in the steamer.

Well, if it's any comfort, I've been plateaued for 6 weeks too, after a great period of weight loss. I think my body is adjusting. It seems to need to do that.

But really, Carrie, I don't consider a loss of 5" to be a plateau, regardless of what the scale says. Way to Go!!

Maggie:)
