I actually did have food on my chin today when I ran into a friend at lunch :eek:

Catherine-hope your DN is feeling much better.

Briee-I hope to get outside this weekend too and go for a run. I love it that the weather is getting so nice.

Marcy-are you all packed? We moved 8 years ago and it is still fresh in my mind all the packing! But, we sure got rid of the junk. I think we should move again because both DH and I collect a lot of junk!

Hey gang! Today was heavy upper body. I supersetted bench and pullups:

Bench:
warmup: 30#x10, 55#x6 and 75#x5
working set: 90# 3 sets of 5, 1 set of 4; 92.5# 1 set of 4 (PR on the 92.5#)

Pullups: 2+4 x 5 sets (first number is standard grip, unassisted second number is wide grip, band assisted) got in one more unassisted rep this time

OHP (overhead preess):
warmup: 15# 8 reps, 20# 6 reps
working set: 27.5# 2 sets if 5, 2 sets of 4 and 2 sets of 3

Skull Crushers: 22.5#3 sets of 4 and 2 sets of 3

Concentration curls: 6 sets of 3

I also did 3 sets of 8 WG pullups with the band with a total of 5# ankle wts on at the end.

I hope everyone is doing well. My DN is OK thank goodness!!

Joanne...went for my first run/walk two days ago and now it looks like a blizzard again. AAaaaaaahhhhhhh! And they closed Mt. Lacrosse last week so I can't even go snowboarding!!!! I WANT SUMMER....NOW.

In the spirit of the old chinsters today I went to Dicks Sporting Goods and did chinups with my DN. I also did a widegrip pullup unassisted!!! That's my first!!!!

This morning was heavy legs. I get all mental when working legs anymore. This is how I know I need a break soon. Anyway it went better than last week.

Squats:
warmup sets: 55#-6, 75#-6 95#-5
working sets: 105# 3 sets of 5 and 107.5# 2 sets of 5

RDLs:
125# 4 sets of 6 (up 5#)

Plies squats:
47.25# DB 3 sets of 8 (bought a 50# at dick's for these)

Good Mornings:
60# 4 sets of 6 (still getting the hang of these; up 20#)

Calf Raises:
130#-15, 140#-15 and 145#-15

I was planning cardio and abs this evening, but I don't know that I'll get around to it. Not feeling very motivated right now :p

Okay Debbie, now I'm gonna have to come clean. I too was impatient to get into this site and didn't even give logins a thought. I was incredibly irritated because my name is Lori and every variation of Lori was taken, I tried Lori, Lorrie, Laurie, lauri, loriS (to incorporate my last name) and nothing. So I tried my dh's name Brian, couldn't get in with that either so I tried all forms of Brian and by then was getting really impatient and annoyed. I was trying Bri, bria, brie, briee........and finally it stuck. Shoot, by then I didn't care what I was called, I just wanted to post. In fact the next login name I was going to try was JustLetMePost#%$@#$#@, but that might have been a little long don't ya think?

Pullups: 3/3, 2/3, 2/4, 2/4, & 2/5 Again 1st number is standard grip, unassisted; the 2nd number is WG band assisted. That was my first set of 3 pullups in a while!! My butt is whoooooped!!

Cathe was the one and only forum I had ever seen when I signed up and at the time I thought everyone signed their name by their login. Then after years of doing it...it just stuck. I'd answer to Briee in a large crowd:7 :7 :7 :7 . We named our cow after me (Briee)...how endearing is this?? There were several threads where we discussed this years ago. How long have you posted at Cathe's site Catherine???

Briee-I loved your story about how you got your log in name.

Catherine-all I can say is you are so strong. I did a couple of chins over the weekend and they still amaze me how much strength they take and how hard they are.

I was riding my bike this time last year. I really can not stand this winter any longer.
