Is running or circuit workout better for fat loss?

I currently do 2 circuit, 2 total body and 2 cardio (step or kickboc and interval) per week and sometimes an xpress cardio on my off day. I was thinking of changing things up a bit to up the fat loss and thought I should introduce running. I am not sure if 30-45 min of running would burn more or less fat than an hour of a circuit video. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lora Kate! If you don't usually do running and you want to start, you will definitely burn a lot of additional calories as your body adapts to the new stresses placed upon it (get GREAT running shoes). Once you are acclimated and eventually pretty used to running, you will still burn good calories as long as you continue to challenge yourself (put a few explosive burst in there, go on a hilly course etc.)

Any cardio or circuit cardio workout that is 30 to 45 (or longer) minutes in length will fare about the same in intensity as long as you are focused and work hard throughout the program.
