Hi, I am a new member and a great admirer of Cathe of course, she is the Queen, sometimes while I am following a video of hers, such as Rhytmic Step I tend to talk to her like:....." wait wait wait... hold on just right there", I take the remote control and all sweaty and huffing and puffing I say: just hold on girl,,, I need to rewind you and learn that move again, and I find me doing this over and over during the video... it is kind of funny and fun at the same time.

I have been reading the forums and I don't see the topic FOOD.... or... Nutrition... I know Cathe is not a nutritionist but It will help if we teach or learn from each other how to eat... I do have problems when it comes to eating, the fact that I do cardio a lot I am hungry all the time, and I do like carbs, the healthy ones like wholesome grains, fruits and veggies, I avoid white sugar and white flours in its many forms or disguise like donuts, cakes, cookies pies etc etc, I finally got them off my system and it is hard to keep up with heathy clean eating, so I was thinking if we all can share what we eat, how we prepare our foods, what type of food works for us what food dont work for us, when we go out for dinner, a party, or a gathering, our downs and ups, this would be days we are doing good, the days we are doing bad, sometimes sharing emotions helps a lot, or maybe we went to a healthfood store and found a product, tried it and didn't or did work, I hope I was a little clear and get some ideas from you guys,

Good for you, Norma. I like to avoid the same foods because I am not willing to do 3-5 workouts to burn off the bad foods that is just like sludge in our system anyways. I think having a mental image of food helps. (Example: Chips/Dip- makes big hips), etc. Feeling good about myself the next morning helps. I know if I were to eat badly, I would not want to get up to face my body fat analyzer or hope that my jeans still fit the same way.
I use to list the foods I eat and some others did too. My fridge is not always packed or the cabinets with food and sometimes I honestly don't know what I will be eating on some days, but I know it won't be donuts, pizza, ice cream or candy. LOL

I thought I was the only geek writing a list of the foods I should eat, ha.... that is the beauty of forums, you will find someone rowing the same boat.... I feel the same way when I am running my ass off after the french fries I ate a nite before, but at the same time is good energy! ha! ... usually after eating something like that, the next workout I'm dynamite!!!!.. only I'm not burning old stored fat, just what I finished eating, haha.
