Is anyone "JUST HAPPY" with thier weight "NOW"?

Lately it seems I take 2 steps forward and 4 steps back where my "weight" is concerned.

I read somewhere that every body has a "set point" where their weight is concerned, and trying to go past this weight is always a struggle and almost impossible to maintain. Something to do with genetics or something.
(Im hoping someone out there knows what Im talking a bout and can clarify it more - or if its even true!)

At the moment, Im still heavier than I would like to be, but funny enough Im still in the "healthy" weight range for my height and age etc, so really it must be psychological that I think I should be/need to be thinner.

Im not feeling unenthused about working out or even lack motivation, but I think I need to start thinking "health" not "size 4, 6, 8 or what ever" because this is messing with my mind and makes me paranoid about what I eat.

Can any one eles relate to this?

RE: Is anyone

I haven't given a tinker's damn about what the scale says in years. I know my body composition is healthy from my body's shape, and from my performance capabilities, and that's all I need to know.

And FWIW, I take a size zero in a skirt and jeans, so it's not like I'm simply in denial about the whole issue and avoid the scale out of fear. I just don't care. My blood pressure is 118 / 80, my resting heart rate is 45 bpm, my minimum weight load for lifting is 22.5 lb dumbbells and I can squat and lunge for 10 minutes solid with 80 lbs combined weight, I can do I-Max 1 without recovery intervals and tack on Boot Camp cardio only premix as a chaser, and that's all I need to know too.

RE: Is anyone

I've been happy with the way I look/feel for years! I just work out mainly for the fun of it and for health reasons.
