I'm contemplating getting a masters in social work and was wondering if anyone was already doing this type of work (my BA is in psychology).

I know this field is a notoriously challenging one and would like to hear from those who are in this field of work.

I am a social worker, though I have been out of the field since my son was born almost 6 years ago! I have a specialization in families in children. Before I left for my son, I worked at a long term therapeutic group home for children. I think I can answer your questions
