Irregular periods and TTC

My husband and I have been ttc our first child since April. I came off of 16 years of bc on 4/8/06 and ever since then I have had a period every two weeks. My OBGYN ordered blood work and I go tomorrow for the results, she would not discuss them with me over the phone which was a little scary. Has anyone gone through something like this and how did it effect your ttc chances?

Hi Shannon! i have been off the pill for 14 months, and have had only one period and that was with the help of progesterone, and estrogen, and made me feel awful. I went to a fertility specialist and he felt it was my stress and low body weight. I am trying to get control over these things, but lately have been having mild menstrual cramps and hope that my body is trying to have a period. Please keep me posted on how things turn out. will keep you in thoughts. Best wishes to you and your huysband. My husband and I are so ready to conceive, but without a period it is tough on us both. Thank you for your insight on this. My doctor also asked me about my stress level, I told her I was just stressed out TTC. Lol. I wish you the very best of luck. Please keep me posted on your out come.
