Friday night was a meet and greet with dinner followed by a fun relay race, dessert, and time for pictures with Cathe and crew as well as autographs.
Saturday morning started with a group photo, a kickboxing class, and a sculpting class before lunch. We had a blast with Cathe’s step class in the afternoon and enjoyed a nice Italian feast at Adelphia’s Saturday night.
Sunday morning was a kickboxing/boot camp class followed by brunch at the Five Points Diner. Cathe was very accessible all weekend. She was there for the meals and social time. She does not act like a celebrity. Being with her feels like visiting a good friend. Cathe is very approachable. There was not a formal time scheduled to line up for autographs and pictures or anything like that. People spontaneously talked to her throughout the weekend. I was amazed at how much time and attention she gave us. A few people talked to her and took pictures with her after each class. Most of us visited with her during meals and breaks. I was blessed with many Cathe hugs.
I was at least 80 pounds overweight (but I came home 3 pounds lighter even though I ate rich food all weekend). Cathe was very encouraging. She offered modifications and gently encouraged me to rest or use a mat instead of a step when I was tired. The step and sculpting classes were less intense than her videos because she stopped for several water breaks. The kickboxing class kicked my butt. Yes, I was tired. It took me all week to recover. It was worth it, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Oh, just go read my novel in Open Discussion. LOL! :7 If you want to know how warm and friendly Cathe is in real life and read every detail of this glorious experience, I believe that message covers all the bases. ;-)
Blessings,
