INSANITY Check-In 11/15/09

Greetings, Insanitinas! This morning I did a really cool mish-mosh: the warm-up from Max Interval Sports Training that includes an extended series of grounded knee lifts with the support leg in varying degrees of knee flexion (hello, burning tush!) followed by Max Interval Plyo in its entirety. I chose these two because I wanted to do a lot of single-leg drills, and MIP certainly delivered with the "Pogos" in the second cycle and the single-leg floor touch into vertical jump in the third. (I also did a water workout yesterday that also focused on single-leg kicking drills.) Followed up this a.m.'s cardio with some BRIEF barbell squat / plie squat work and ankle weight glute / hamstring work, B&G core and a 45-minute do-it-myself upper body set. All I can say right now is:

I truly hope my husband doesn't task me with anything that requires me to go from a sit-to-stand.

As Shaun himself said in a recent Facebook post, "Love and light!"
