Insane Damage Controlling...on THURSDAY!

Good Morning!

I set my alarm for 6 but there was no way I could get up. I was up late last night wrapping presents! LOL I wanted to get DD's presents done before she went snopping around. Its to bad cause I was hoping for a long workout today but I am going to have to settle for a hour long, just like every other work day morning.

Nothing new to report here. We had some crazy wind here last night! And its still pretty windy out there. When I let the dog out the top of our chimney was on the patio! I have never known that to happen to anyone before. Its a good thing it landed there and not on the top of the truck.

Todays workout is gonna be a circuit of some sort!

I was just thinking yesterday about all the meals and parties I have this month. I have 2 parites this weekend, baby group dinner on Mon night,ugly christmas sweater party on the 12th, another dinner and cookie exchange on the 14th, work party on the 17th,and DH's work party on the 19th. Plus Christmas eve and Christmas Day to boot! Hide the scale!:eek: Oddly enough I usually lose weight prior to Christmas. I guess its the hussle and bussle of it all so I just gain back what I lost. DH told me last night that he thought my legs were smaller. I have growen to not really care how big my legs are. My legs have always been bigger then my friends but their huge or anything. They just aren't little skinny little women legs;) At one point, yes I did hate them...but I don't care anymore. My legs do alot for me, so I learned to love them and I don't envy little legs anymore. Anyway, it was comment just the same. I guess thats where the 5 lbs loss as came from. My butt and my legs!:rolleyes:

I need to get this workout started. I will bbl and catch up on yesterdays personals!

Good Morning.

Well y'day's eating STUNK! It wasn't that I over-ate I don't think but that I ate a bunch of crap. I was petrified to get on the scale this morning but I did anyway. Thankfully it's only back up the .5 pounds that it had gone down as of y'day morning. Not happy but it could be much worse!!! :eek:

My rotation calls for Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs today. I will try to do them both but if I skip out of Cardio Abs it won't be a big deal. My abs are getting worked plenty with Insanity even though I am usually only doing an ab vid once a week-it seems to be enough!

Lori:: On hear ya on the leg thing. Probably one of my biggest peeves about my body is my legs. They have never been "small", have always had some size to them no matter what. I can thin them out some depending on how I train but they have never gotten to where I would want them so I too have given up. I have decided to give up heavy leg training (cause that only makes them bigger) and just deal with them as they are. Nothing I else I can do I suppose cause I am not starving myself to try and get thin legs. It probably wouldn't work anyway! :rolleyes: My other pet peeve has always been my waist. I don't have one. It shrinks and grows with my body but I am built pretty straight. I don't have much curve there. Wish I had more but again...nothing I can do. Genetics can be cruel sometimes!!!!:mad:

Off to get more coffee. I'll be back to catch up with personals from yesterday! :)

Workout is complete and Im ready for some lunch! I forgot to pack something so I am going to run home and getting a burger:)

Wendy** I swear I could have written your post!!! I don't have much of a waist either and when I gain weight, thats right where it goes! Im kind of a ruler shape. My waist use to be 28-29" before DS but now its usually 26.5-27". But then if that happens, I also tend to lose inches in my hips, so what was the point? I still don't have much shape:eek: Ugh! My sister has all the hips, oh...and the boobs, I don't really have any of them either! LOL Enjoy your workout today!

So my workout was legs (squats and lunges) from PH and should and bics. Plus 46 mins on the TM, 5 miles. Its such a rat race getting out of the house in the a.m! My own fault but I have to get my workout in!

man .. my shoulders are so tense right now I feel like I am a hunchback! :mad: GEESH what a day .. no time to fully report .. but the pool room Christmas decore went better than expected .. got a nice start on it .. really pretty .. supper was a super meal - DH and I got to fit in a little "couple time" ;) so no official w/o to report but boy did I have fun ;););)

Wendy .. when i read your post from yesterday .. I actually about spit out my water .. that is EXACTLY how I feel .. LOL ... ysty AND today ..

Lori .. well me and you and WEndy have the same body types .. RULER -- (alhtough I have sneaking suspicion I am the hunga bunga of the group) and yes if I gain weight it is in my middle ... and yes if I loose it I loose in my hips :mad: grrrrrrr .. my hips I love .. my legs I love .. I love the way my abs look but they are thick and I dont have that beautiful hour glass figure that SIL rocks .. right now my middle has too much fat on top of the muscles :mad::mad:and my damage control is SUCKING :mad::mad::mad::mad: gotta get on track here girlies ..

hello to all that follow ... it is FREEZING today .. tonight is to get to 32 .. :confused: .. I have PLYO class tonight and when I get out it is gonna be like stepping into a deep freezer sopping wet :confused::confused::confused: and I am already getting a scratchy throat .. DH said he is sick .. stupid men sharing phones at work .. and I had sex w/him soooooo now I am gonna get sick :mad: .. ugh .. he didnt feel it till today ... so I popped some airborne and hoping I get a jump on it .. OK .. I am off to my own sweat fest!!!:eek: have a great one :D

Just when I was down on myself for gaining a few pounds over the last few weeks I got the best compliment in the world today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A guy friend of mine told me that I have the body of a 20 year old! I am almost 38 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been on cloud nine all day b/c of that! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
 
Hey Ladies,

These early morning meetings really crimp my style! This morning I did PCC and somehow managed to tweak my back...it is killing me now. I don't even think it was the workout...I think it happened when I reached down for my glass of water. UUUGGGHHHH

Not sure if I'm going to give bootcamp class a try tonight or not. I have about 10 min to decide.

Lori-I have not wrapped one single gift. I really only have stuff for my gd's anyway. You are so organized and on top of everything. Sorry your not happy with your bodytype, who is really. I'm definitely thicker on the lower half but I do have a waist. Now if I had boobs then I could have the hourglass shape, but no! We are strong and healthy and that's what it's all about anyway.

Wendy-Gotta love those nice comments!!!:D I have to say I really loved working out with Sean this morning. My level 1 drills were quite pitiful though.:( Oh, and I forced myself to weigh yesterday and it wasn't pretty. I'm sure Sean will have it gone in no time.

Laura-oh yes, we are having freezing cold temps also. Glad to hear you got your pool room decorated. I'm not sure I'm even going to pull out the house decorations...it may be more trouble with the gd's here..trying to keep them away from the breakables. Good luck getting back on track with your diet...I'm working on it too.
