can you do the sqeeze or the barre method inbetween weight training days or does it not allow recovery? i was going to do GS on monday, wednesday, and friday and then the squeeze or barre method on tuesday and thursdays, is this ok?
Hi - I do it but then I'm not worried about gaining mass in my thighs...so I don't care if I overtrain them slightly......and I'm not even sure that would count as overtraining....cuz Squeeze doesn't use additional weight ....just body weight. Sometimes I find it hard to get thru the reps in Squeeze if I'm already sore.
Any more, my legs constantly feel overtrained. I've been doing weighted circuits at least 3 times a week, Spinning on 1-2 cardio days and just started adding some Bar Method/Squeeze type stuff in again and my legs are toast. Those standing climbs in Spinning really make your legs sore.
i don't want to build anymore so i'm hoping that adding these workouts in will lean me out a bit more and streamline my muscles. do you only do pure cardio on the days you spin?
