Imax Remix or REMAX?!

WRITER

I was doing Imax yesterday, one of my faves, and I was thinking I wish it had the fast feet interval from Imax 2, which I love. Then I got an idea:

How about making a new Imax Remix (not just footage from previous but refilmed) that takes 3 intervals from each of the Imaxes plus one?

Maybe do a survey to see what the 3 top selections from each is!!

I think this is really cool idea...what about making a fourth Imax that is a mixture (new footage) of all the previous Imax DVD. I have not tried Imax but I LOVE Imax 2 and Imax 3. Just a question...have you ever tried the blast only premixes. These are a true Butt-Kicker!! :)

I would absolutely LOVE to see a series of Cardio Fusion type workouts from SNM incorporating rechaptered, restructured segments of older workouts. A 'blast only' premix from the first Imax, a cardio only premix from Circuit Max, etc. Kick Max's blast challenge segment chaptered as 10 separate blasts. They could use parts of the CTX cardios and parts of MIS or Pure Stength to create new circuit workouts too, similar to the Terminator DVD. I think there is great opportunity here. An example of an interval/upper body workout could be:

CTX Step Intervals warm up
Interval 1 from Imax 1
Pyramid Upper Body Chest (up pyramid only)
Interval 2 from CTX Step Intervals
Pyramid Upper Body Back (up pyramid only)
Interval 4 from Imax 3
Pyramid Upper Body Shoulder (up pyramid only)
Interval 3 from CTX Step Intervals
Pyrmaid Upper Body Tricep work (up pyramid only)
Interval 10 from Imax
Pyramid Upper Body Biceps (up pyramid only)
Interval 9 from Imax 2
All (4) Supersets ab segments back to back
CTX Step Intervals stretch

Another idea might be something like this:

Kick Max warm up:
Kick Max combo #4
Pyramid Lower Body Squats (12 reps only)
Kick Max blast challenge blasts 1 and 2 only
Pyramid Lower Body Plies (12 reps only)
Kick Max blast challenge blasts 3 and 4
Pyramid Lower Body Static Lunges (12 reps only)
Kick Max blast challenge blasts 5 and 6
Pyramid Lower Body leg press (12 reps only)
Kick Max blast challenge blasts 7 and 8
Pyramid Lower dead lifts (12 reps only)
Kick Max blast challenge blasts 9 and 10)
Pyramid Lower Body's floor work
CTX Kickbox's abs and Planks
CTX Kickbox's stretch

Or

MIC warm up
Circuit Max hi/lo sections 1 and 2 back to back (compound weight work omitted)
Drill Max Drill 1
Circuit Max's kickbox section 1 (compound weight work omitted)
Drill Max Drill 3
MIC hi intensity hi/lo only (not the lo or medium stuff)
Drill Max drill 5
brief cool down
Slow and Heavy Back and Chest's supermans and planks
Power Hour's abs
Power Hour's stretch

There could also be some new 'bonus' stuff thrown in there for some premixes.

Some bonus high step stuff would be great because this could be incorporated with the high step stuff from High Step Circuit, High Step Challenge, and High Step Training Advanced!!!

You know what would be really cool? A scrambled egg type workout that pulls different sections from the different IMAXs each time, so you never know what's coming next! }(

I know the technology's not there, but a girl can dream...

Or a scrambled egg mix of the cardio sections from:

High Step Training Advanced
High Step Challenge
High Step Circuit
Boot Camp
and the Blast Challenge section from Kick Max

It would be very easy to move your high step out of the way if necessary.

Another cool idea would be to have a cardio/lower body circuit using the cardio and lower body chapters from each of Cathe's high step workouts. They could be scrambled too, to fight boredom.

I see an entire 'remix' series possible (which would go far to keeping our appetite for 'new' Cathe workouts satisfied while waiting for the next 'actually new' workouts).

I totally agree - and it wouldn't come close to time or the cost of a new production. I seriously hope SNM considers doing something like this!!!!!!!!!!
