IMax 3

I haven't been on here much lately, so I'm not sure if the topic has been brought up recently, but is anyone loving IMax 3? Some of the blasts really take me to my threshhold. Now when I do IMax 2 my heart rate barely gets up there until the 5th or 6th interval. I still love Imax 2 but Imax 3 is more fun and more of an endurance challenge for me. Those shorter breaks really make a difference. I love the blast with the jumping jacks. It's tough and fun. I also find the choreography more fun. Anyone agree or is Imax 2 still the favorite Cathe interval workout? What are your thoughts?

Just to add, I never do warm-ups, mainly because I am warmed up by the time I work out, but I love that Tainted Love song better than the original. I do wish the music was louder, but oh well.

The more I "practice" (yep, I'm still THERE}( ) with IMAX 3, the easier it seems, although I still have to modify. The more I do it, the less modifications I make. Many of the blasts I can do, but I have to do them on the floor, otherwise my knees complain. My knees still hate the blast with plies, so I do only what they can take. They also hate the 4th interval, which I can do in its entirety. They throb like crazy afterwards. The jump-turns and ricochets really aggravate them, so I don't push it.

I still prefer IMAX 2 over 3, but that might change -- they'll be on even terms -- the more I do 3. I gotta say, IMAX 3 has really challenged my patience and motivation. And how serendipitous that I did S&H for a while because in there, Cathe says, "Fight for it. You're gonna win." Damn straight.

I really like Imax 3 a lot. I've been doing the premixes (1-5 one day then 6-10 another day) and really giving it my all. I love the 4th and 7th interval the best!!!

While I find IMAX3 more challenging than IMAX2, I still like IMAX2 more. IMAX3 I really have to psych myself up for, whereas with IMAX2, I reach for it over and over again. Also like IMAX the original. Rating wise, in terms of difficulty, I'd put IMAX2, then IMAX, then IMAX3 -- but that's just me. I do agree, however, that after you've done IMAX3, IMAX2 seems easier -- so I enjoy IMAX2 even more...

Still love IMAX2 - just more fun. I agree I have to also psych myself up to do IMAX3. Maybe this will change with time.

According to me I max2 is still my favourite interval workout. I like Imax3 but the music in Imax 2 is great and motivates me much more.
When I first watched Imax 3 I thought that it is the toughest workout I have ever seen, but when I did it first time, I could do it in it’s entirely and it didn't seem so difficult. But I think it is due to that I have been doing Imax 2 and Imax 1 both in one week almost six months, so may be I am stronger today than the first time I try Imax2. Imax 2 was my first interval workout, and I think it would stay my favourite forever.

If you can believe it, Imax3 was my first intro to Cathe workouts! It's my favorite by far, and such a tough, yet great, workout. I've even been known to do the step only premix on days when I don't want to scrape myself up off the floor afterwards or on days when I need to give my knees a break.

I just got Imax2 and cant wait to try it out this weekend!! I'll report in afterwards my thoughts on the two compared to each other.

I love Imax 2 and Imax 3 both equally!

IMAX 3 in particular has made my fitness level soar to new heights.

I still have to modify Blast 7 though -- I still am not strong enough to do those rapid jacks on the platform!

The rest of IMAX 3 has become very challenging, but achieveable with no modifications.

I love I max 3. At first I approached it with a dread factor. Now that I have pretty much done it at least once a week for the last 9 weeks I am really liking it. Also It has made interval 9 on I max 2 seem easy. I like the music which makes a huge motivational difference for me.
