Imax 2 Success

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share (because I'm really excited) with you all that I finally made it all the way through Imax 2. Completely. I didn't have to eliminate anything. I had to work really, really hard to make it through the blast from interval 9, but I did it.

I'm so happy! A major hurdle for me.

Just wanted to share with all of you -- 'cause you all understand. :D

Marla, that is fantastic! High cyber 5! if i could do that i would want to share it too!!!! in fact, i would probably put it on a bill board! that is a major accomlishment in my book. you go girl!!!

Thanks for all your "congrats!" It really is a big deal to me.

Jo - Yes, I love Imax 2 and I love the music. It's just so fun.

One thing that is REALLY cool is that after doing Imax 2 for a whlie (even when I could only get through interval 5 or 6) it increased my cardio endurance enough that other workouts became easier (Cardio & Weights, Power Max, etc.).

Now that I've gotten through it I'm going to keep Imax 2 in my rotation on a regular basis. I'm so happy to have come this far.

Great job Marla! That workout is a tough one, but definitely one of the funnest IMHO.

And how is your diet going? You know, I've tried lot's of different things but with Cathe workouts, I need my complex carbs! Brown rice, sweet potatoes, beans etc.

Yes, that workout is a "blast" (hee hee)!

I totally agree with you -- I absolutely need my complex carbs if I'm going to do Cathe's workouts. The carbs I eat are fresh fruits & vegetables, whole wheat organic pasta (Bella Terra is yummy!), various beans, and Ezekiel organic sprouted grain bread.

I do not eat any processed food.

I did try to eliminate carbs but my energy level was way too low -- but my metabolism has always been good, too, so I've never actually been "overweight," just out of shape.

My interest in good nutrition and fitness has been with me forever, but I've refined my understanding of what works for me and taken it to a new level. I've become so very serious about it in the past few months. I don't foresee going back to binging on Taco Bell and Corona any time soon! :eek:

Yippeee! Woo-Hoo!! That is great. IMax 2 is my all-time fav! That number 9 is a KILLER! I usually end up modifying that one. Thanks for sharing and good for you on making healthy changes in your diet too. Keep up the good work.
