In response to the excellent posts of late, I've decided to take my security blanket away and really try to eat intuitively.
I've counted calories and kept a food diary since last summer. It really helped me to lose 25 pounds and get a definite idea of what I can and cannot do. For instance, it's not just all about calories for me. It matters what and when I eat. (Yes, I've always known this, but it has helped me to really see what is going on). So I've continued to track my food intake to get an idea where I'm at for maintenance. But I don't want to do this forever. And since I've recently started the STS Cardio and Strength rotation, I feel listening to my body is really important right now.
Scary stuff! Anyone else in?
