I'm sure it's no different really than the video game addicts...

I have had a great deal of difficulty with this in my home. At one point I discontinued our internet, and cable, and packed up all video games. No kidding, my whole family literally went through marked withdrawals. It took a few days, but then we all started to come around again. It was nice for awhile, but then things started to happen, internet was needed for school, work and such. We eventually went right back to electronic entertainment.

That has been my experience. Does anyone else have a story about the addictiveness of any of these?

At DS's school they have a week of no tv, video games, or computers.
This was last year. The week is coming up next month. We did very well with it. The computer was the hardest for me. I have to say that I did use the tv for my workouts but that was it.
