Hello Ladies!
I have just found out I am pregnant (I am 5 weeks). DH and I have been TTC for a year, and we are super excited. I am not telling family or friends yet, but just needed to share.
This is our first, so any recommendations on books, ways to tell people, workouts, etc. would be appreciated. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you over the next few months.

Welcome! Congratulations! This forum is so great for support during pregnancy! As for what books to read, etc., I think it's wise to not read too much. Some of those books can be pretty stressful. My favorite book was Pregnancy Week by Week by Dr. Jane MacDougal. It's a very neat book that you prop up on the counter (kind of like a flip calendar) and each week you turn the page to see what the baby looks like in utero and how he/she is developing. My DH and I would put the book on the bathroom counter and each week we'd turn a page and read it together. It was very neat seeing how the baby was developing. I have three boys (ages 7,4 and 5 months) and enjoyed this book with each pregnancy.

Congrats again!!!

Welcome and congrats on the baby ;). I'm having my third boy in about a month 1/2. I was never that creative to think of a fun way to share the news. I just out and said it lol. I like the week by week books too but this time I haven't read it much. I was glued to it with my first and a little bit with my second and this time I just skip thru it and catch up every month or so.

Glad to "meet" everyone.
For telling I am thinking: I will buy grandma brag books, put a first picture at the front and mail them to our mothers for mother's day (that is about when I want to tell anyway).
