Gosh I'm hesitant to add more advice since you've received so much good stuff already but here goes...
I recently went to a seminar about exercise and nutrition. One of the main speakers was a pretty famous RD named Nancy Clark. She's written quite a few great books(you can find them on amazon.com). Anyway, she suggests to her patients to eat 2 lunches a day. The reason is that during the day, the body needs more fuel to function. She believes that people in general probably eat too much for dinner because they've starved themselves from lunch on and then come to dinner with a raging appetite. She said that if you are too hungry to prepare your dinner(real dinner, not micrwave)without snacking, then you're probably not eating enough during the day. Ever since that seminar, I've been doing exactly that and let me tell you, I feel SOOOO much better. I used to feel so guilty eating between lunch and dinner but now I literally fix myself a whole other lunch and always ending eating a lot less for dinner.
