<--is amazed at what a difference 15 subway stops can make
<--felt like she went back in time today to an old world where grandma used to cook with her chubby fingers always glistening with chicken fat and her hair in rollers and a hairnet
<--says for some reason <--'s aunt chose to stay in that world forever while all 3 of her brothers moved on to a new world
<--hadn't thought about the old neighborhood in decades!

<--and DH went and did some browsing/shopping today, then to dinner and stopped and rented a movie on the way home so <--is getting ready to collapse on the couch to watch it.
<--hopes everyone had a good day and has a good evening too.

<--didn't personally feel the flame war was warranted to begin with.
<--thinks maybe some folks need to not take certain things so personally and to heart around here.
