Ifit, CardioCoach,or Itrain?

I am thinking of getting a treadmill. I have heard of some of these programs and am looking for some opinions and input on making a decision on which is a good program to go with. I have dial-up so I don't want to download and burn. I am afraid mine is too slow. Is there anything out there that has CD's that I can purchase. I also don't want to do the same workout over and over. Have to have variety. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Colleen

Hi Colleen...I have all 5 Volumes of Cardio Coach and each & every one is GREAT! They really motivate you. I have used mine outside jogging (downloaded it to my IPod) and I have used it indoors to my treadmill and spin bike. They make the workout fly by! Coach Sean is very likable too and has a very nice voice. They are available on CD which is what I prefer to buy because you can download it at home should you decide to do that later. Check them out:

Let me know if you buy one. GREAT WORKOUTS that compliment Cathe workouts.

I also use Cardio Coach (on a rebounder and Transfirmer) and I second Debbie's enthusiasm. They are very motivating and well-done, with good music.

Debbie - OKAY OKAY - you convinced me. I'm waiting for my Spinerval CD's to come, and I needed a workout today, so I downloaded Volume 3 of Cardio Coach (seemed to be about the right length) to use with a spin bike at the gym. I listened a bit to it, and I think I'll really like it. It will make a nice mix up of workouts. I'm really stoked for this.

Christine!

Cardio Coach is the ONLY other workout that I have found sooo far that makes me "happy" like a Cathe workout! I think you are going to be pleased. I just got off my treadmill doing CC Vol. #2 and I am in need of a shower QUICK! (Also, did GS-Back, Shoulders and BIS and KP&C ABS! Whew! :p) I think it's just a matter of time and you'll have all 5 Volumes! Enjoy and let me know what you think. On a side note...I have some Spinervals too that I "like" but I LOVE Cardio Coach!

RE: Christine!

OK, I have all the CC workouts also, but since iTrain has come around I enjoy it so much better than CC. I may in the minority here but iTrain just gets me pumped up more. The CC's have been just sitting around since I have found iTrain.

Rhonda-
I just downloaded iClimb3 (40 min) yesterday and am pretty excited to try it out on a cardio machine. The music seems (at least to me) better than the CC music. What iTrain workouts do you have and which do you enjoy the most???

RE: Christine!

Isn't it great that we have such an option to chose from! I listened to the iTrain workouts, and they're more hiphop which I'm too old to appreciate. ;) So, I am happy for the Cardio Coach...

RE: Christine!

I did the Cardio Coach 3 that I downloaded. It was fun, actually. And I pushed. He coaches very well. My only problem was the batteries on my DD CD player died in the middle (so THAT's what that little symbol meant! LOL). I ran down to the front desk and got more, but...

The music is a little too techno - someone should come out with something like this with music from the 70's. *grins*

Thanks so much everyone for all your input on this! I can't wait to try it! Sounds like I will really enjoy my treadmill when I get it!
Thanks again!
Colleen

Rhonda?

Can you give me some more info on Itrain, like what the music is like and what ones did you download? I went to the website and join but their are 3 different ways: did you just do the A La Carte, Monthly Motivator, or Resolutions Package. I wanted to preview the songs but it looks like you can't. TIA:)

I pretty much have just downloaded the treadmill workouts. I needed some different workouts for the treadmill. I did also download a couple of the iClimb workouts (the 20 minute ones) to use on the treadmill. Using one of these and then one 20 minute iTread gave me a really good workout.

Hi,

I did the yearly package since all I am mainly interested are the treadmill workouts. Mainly the 20 and 40 minute ones. So I knew I wouldn't really want more than 3 workouts a month. I plan on only doing it for one year and then I will have quite a few workouts to choose from. I don't plan on continuing once my year is up in December. I don't think there is a place to preview the songs. You can year about a 20 second clip and that is all. I know they are working on getting a forum up but that is way off in the future.
