If You Pray - One More Time

Hello:

You may remember the police officer we lost on duty a few weeks ago. Well, tomorrow was to be his wedding. As you can imagine, his fiancee is having a really hard time with it. After losing her husband just a few years ago to cancer and then finding happiness she never thought she'd experience again, only to lose that love, must be just awful. She said that she can't believe that what was supposed to be one of the happiest days of her life is now going to be one of the saddest she'll ever have to face. I think her healing has been on hold as she has been awaiting tomorrow.

So please, if you have a moment, say a prayer for her as she faces a very difficult day tomorrow. I told her there are a lot of people praying for her and that definitely gives her comfort. I know God will hear those prayers. She will be with her parents and her kids and they are going to the mountains to the place she was to be married. It was a place Dennis loved so much.

Susan, I'm sending out prayers to her today. God says he will never give us more than we can handle, but doggone, it sure can be tough.

Good to hear from you, though, I sent you an email.

I pray that God will surround her with His unfailing love this weekend. I pray that she will be filled with peace that passes all understanding and find the freedom to grieve and start to heal. I hope her family can offer her the support she needs on such an emotional day.
