Row, row, row your best

Buy-in

 • Coach Boz OHS warm-up
 • OHS 3×3 at moderate weight 20#

Don’t push for a new 3RM here. Just work the movement and focus on depth, active shoulders and core stability.

603 WOD

Deadlift

 • Set 1: +5-10# from Monday (August 3rd) WOD, 3-5 reps 5@125
 • Set 2: 90% of Set 1, 3-5 reps 5@115

Press

Cash out

 • Max effort 500M row

Shoot for a new PR, and record time to comments. (You’ll need this number later in the week, which is a hint of evil things to come.) Need some inspiration? Refresh your row technique with Again Faster’s Concept2 series, Part I and Part II.
Don’t have a rower? Sub a max effort 400M run instead.

ran on treadmill 400M- time: 1.52

NOTES:
**wanted to do OHS with 30#, but as a warm up needed to go with 20#
**even though the WOD calls for +10 I am going to continue to only raise my weights 5#.
**started run @8.0 finished at 8.5 for the last .10M:)
**spent time yesterday rereading PTTP and reevaluated program. will continue with wave cycle till week 6 and at week 7 will see how I feel, and will probably move to step cycle to finish out the 10-12 weeks.

Off to read Byers gets Diesel... Melissa from the 603 is posting on her blog and I have to catch up!:)
Waves to everyone!!:):):)
Have a terrific tuesday!!!:D:D:cool:

Good morning!

Deanie - I hope DS9 feels better soon. I like your DL goal. Great metcon the other day. WTG on the 24k swings! :)

Jane - I'm glad you had a great day with your sisters. I hope you had a great run! I remember the Sweaty Balls skit...:D:D:D Nice workout!

Marcy - Nice workout yesterday. WTG on your chin ups and pull ups.

Melissa - Good job on Providence! Don't worry, your strength gains will come back faster than you think. I hope your boys are feeling better.

Rhonda - Study hard! Good luck with your exams. We'll miss you!

I spent the weekend working on the kitchen (surprise, surprise). I had Monday off, so got a lot done. The pantry section is just about complete - I still need to build and install some shelves. All of the other cabinets are assembled and set in place, but not permanently installed. I swear I've worn out a path between the workshop and the kitchen! The center wall piece of the pantry is going to be a bookshelf. I had to custom build that.

I attached a couple pics.

I'm going to play with my kettlebells tonight!

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

Tonight I'm doing PUB because I didn't get to do that on Sunday as planned.

The Sweaty Balls workout was quite sweaty and no joke. Those broad jumps with a med ball were killer.

Deanie ~ I hope your DS gets better soon!

Gayle ~ I love the cabinets!!! Great job!

Waves hi to the the Double "M"s ~ Melissa and Marcy.

Have a great day!

I did the Aloha Abs Premix (70 mins.) from Eoin Finn's Power Yoga for Happiness 2. No inversions except for shoulderstand. Managed to do side crane on both sides but did better on right side. Tough ab work with lots of boat and levitation holds.

Deanie - Great workout! Hope DS gets well soon. You're lucky that at least he loves school.

Gayle - Great looking cabinets!

Jane - Hope you have a great workout with PUB! How many pounds is your med ball? Broad jumps are killer without the weight let alone with any.

Waves to Melissa and Rhonda!

Marcy
