Ideas for a Romantic Evening w/ SO

Hello ladies!!!! I am flying up to see my SO in Sacramento (he lives there, a bit of a long distance relationship) this weekend and I was trying to brainstorm something very romantic to do for him while there.

Normally, he is the one to surprise me with the romantic treatment. Horse carriage ride (he was waiting in the carriage when I arrived at a restaurant) or surprise a picnic set up (with help from his brothers) in the park. He is always full of ideas and I feel like I am just not a super creative type.

I was just wondering if I could "steal" anyone's creativity and try my hand at being the romantic initiator.

Maybe a fun-romantic. Go play mini golf in the dark/dusk, play skee-ball win tickets and silly prizes. Eat ice cream cones. Go home and work off those calories together. nudge, nudge, wink, wink

I agree with Spyrosmom and thought of putt-putt too.

Also, my DH really likes a massage! You can plan a couples massage at many spas (massages in the same room). They are nice after a fun physical day of biking, hiking, tennis, or whatever you both like. Then, go home or out to eat feeling all relaxed. You could also pick up massage oils and do-it-yourself...make his favorite dinner, light a lot of candles, wear somethin' special.

Other ideas: sunset somewhere with a view, stargazing on a blanket with champagne, or a hot air balloon ride.
