I want to do something different today

Deb, I did weight train with Cathe for forever, but that was back in the "old days". In the last 3 years I've just been wasting away. I lost about 10 pounds I didn't need to lose, and I'm convinced that ALL of it was muscle. x( I loved working out and I miss it like crazy. But first I had the year of trying to make partner at my law firm, and then the year of proving I was worth it, and now the year of trying to make equity partner. I know. Excuses, excuses. ;) But I will get back to it. I swear! :)
 
HIIT = High Intensity Interval Training. You got the last two words !

Something like this could work in to your cardio day by maybe doing a 20-30 minute TM like you normally do and then switch to a HIIT level for 15 or 20 minutes.

I can guarantee you it is the best feeling when you are done and has helped me increase both my speed and my endurance with my runs. I am honestly flying high when I get to work in the morning (I workout beforehand) and it lasts all day.:7
