todays workout was crap! i was exhausted. I haven't had a rest week in over 6 months. in fact my last rest was back in december. I recently posted about the whole circuit/strength combo. thanks for all that repplied but i think it would be overkill in the end. i just need to break these workouts up seperately. i actually went and saw my teacher today (she used to compete) and got advice on a rotation (basically like the GS seris split). so what i'm going to do is do that rotation but with 2 days of legs b/c they are stubborn and with only 2 days or cardio for 30 min (interval based). i have never tried a rotation cutting down so much on cardio and lifting as heavy as possible and i need to break that fear. but first i need to rest b/c i litterally dragged through my workout this morning. i've been taking a lot of naps as well. i need to listen to all these signs. thanks for all the input though. so starting monday i will do this:
Monday: GS legs-i will lift as heavy as i can even if its at a slower pace then cathe
tuesday: GS chest and triceps and
wednesday: 30 min cardio intervals (IMAX 2 or 3, running, kickmax blasts only, etc) abs
thrusday: L&G heavy!!!!!
friday: GS back, biceps, and shoulders
Saturday: 30 min cardio intervals and abs
sunday: off
friday:

i think so. i eat about 1700-1800 cals per day. i was just so dragging this morning and have been tired a lot lately. i slept for an hour this afternoon again. but mabe that isn't enough cals. i'm 5'3 and weigh 120 lbs. i want to loose these pesky 5lbs that seemed to creep on.

A few days off may be what you need. If your muscles are trying to recover and rebuild, some extra fatigue will set in. You may feel amazing after a few days rest! Just keep the diet healthy and grab extra water!
