I think I finally found a cleaning service!

This is too funny b/c my realtors were nice enough to hire someone to clean my new place before I moved in. So they get there & I explained to the supervisor what I wanted--buckets, hot water, disenfectant (or wood cleaner, depending) & sponges! I told her I didn't want to see any spray bottles or paper towels unless they were cleaning glass. I told her I didn't want the hardwood floor vaccuumed, I wanted it swept, swiffered & mopped.

So I had to run out to grab lunch & she left her crew--I didn't realize she was the only one who spoke English. When I got back from the store they'd gone thru 4 rolls of paper towels in less than an hour! One of the women was cleaning the woodwork w/409 & paper towels & there was absolutely nothing I could do about it b/c she couldn't understand a word I said.

I've been seriously interviewing different services for the last week. When one woman told me they didn't use any water when they cleaned the bathroom & I told her I wanted her to wash stuff down after they cleaned it w/Tilex she told me perhaps I needed to find another service! :(

Anyway, I finally spoke w/a service that sounds like it provides exactly what I want. It's gonna cost more--almost twice as much as the last one--but it'll be worth it to me if they do the job right. I work too many hours to do this stuff myself, & apparently the old saying you get what you pay for is true. I'm too particular & OCD when it comes to cleanliness. I wish I could do it myself but w/the hours I'm working I just don't see how I can--I used to spend all day Saturday cleaning--I need some down time!

I really hope this works out--I'm at the point of desperation........

Wish I were closer, I'd clean for you!! As another OCD neat freak, I understand your *pain*! Sounds like you found a good service, enjoy your new, clean house! ;-)
