I really needed this compliment about right now.

My DH and I went to wal-mart this morning to get stuff for the house. I was standing in line and had a older man behind me. He first told me that I had a good tan, and I thanked him of course. Then as I was about to leave he ask me did I play tennis. I told him I couldn't play a lick. Now coming to a end he ask me was I athletic. I told him I worked out everyday, and he said that he could tell. He was looking at my legs the whole time. I thinking he was flirting just a tad.

I walked out feeling better than I have in a while. My foot has been discouraging me cause I can't do cardio. But after today, I am motivated even more. I guess I'm weird.

Just had to share this experience with all of you.

Kim -

You're not weird! That would be enough to motivate me for WEEKS! That was so sweet of him to compliment you like that! You must be looking pretty hot, lady!! :D

Angie

Weird because you like compliments???? Hardly, my dear. Enjoy it! You've worked hard for it. (And don't forget, for every person who is bold enought to come out and say something to you, there are probably at least 10 more who are thinking it.) :D

yeah, I was dreading the floor work for my legs this morning till now. I am all hyped up about working my legs now. He!He!

Boy I'm going to wal-mart more often!

enjoy the compliment. It's nice for the hard work to be noticed.Last week I was told by a man that I had the best body he had ever seen (that went straight to my head). And my brother and law says(just picking) I am on steroids because of my muscles-thanks for noticing my muscles but not on no juice:) anyways it does make you feel good.

Nancy,

Just thinking about this has made my day!
Thanks!
And by the way, you look GREAT in your new pic;-)
Mattea

Don't you think it's true Mattea? How many times have you thought something about someone and not said anything and then heard someone else say it?

Thanks so much for the compliment. I thought it was time to update my pic. The last one was shadowy and made me look younger than I am. This one has my face right out there. It's kind of therapeutic for me to post myself looking as I really am.

What a cheerful thought, Nancy! And, I agree, you look great in your new picture. (Can I have your cheekbones?)

Yeah, I haven't been able to do those things the past 2 months, but I guess that floor work is doing some good. Now I just need to hear 1 or 2 of those a day. He!He!

Boy you really couldn't be able to tell me anything then.

Doesn't that feel just great? I was at my sister's on Saturday, and DD likes to hang off my arm and swing, so I bent my arm at a 90 degree angle and she hung on there and swung back and forth. One of the women there looked in amazement and said "Wow, don't mess with Mommy":p It helped me get through the biceps in MM last night:)
