I need HELP!!

Hi all. I have been reading posts on cathe's website for almost a year now, but have never posted. I have several of her dvd's. As of late I've really become addicted to them. My problem is that I can't figure out what I really need to do to get in the best shape possible. I always seem to hit a plateau and then get discouraged. I want to lose weight and really get my lower body rock hard. I've read so much information on working out, that I'm confused at this point. Any advice would be much appreciated. I also have a gym membership and can devote and hour to an hour and a half a day to working out. What should I do???

You might want to post this question in the "Open Discussion" forum as well, if you already haven't, in order to get more feedback. Tell us what you are doing now and your goals, and there will be a lot of people to give you some opinions!
 
GetSerious, I'm clearly not Cathe but wonder if you have looked out the rotations threads? The point of rotations (doing certain workouts in a certain order for a 4-6 week period) is to avoid the plateaus you mentioned.

As you'll find out soon if you haven't already, there isn't one magic thing you can do to "get in the best shape possible" since your body and muscles adapt quickly to any (exercise) stress you put them under.

Check out the Rotations forum and I'm sure you'll find a load of suggestions and ideas!! HTH
