I-Max Junkie needs next step . . .

Good morning! I'm new to this forum. I'm a recent convert to Cathe's wizardry, and I totally respect her commitment to quality products for the advanced exerciser.

I've been doing the Interval Max tape 2X per week now since October 2000, and it's starting to feel easy. Any suggestions as to a more advanced tape that might be out there?Reebok's "Intense Moves" aren't, compared to I-Max!

Thanks! I enjoy reading all of the other contributions!

Do you have Bodymax? I feel that one is right up there with Imax as far as being a good, hard advanced workout. That plus the upper body weight part at the end. You will DEFINITELY feel like you worked out after you've done it!! It is 90 minutes long.

Good morning, "Honeybunch"! (Love the screen name)

I actually had BodyMax and tried it a couple of months after I got used to I-Max, and that too felt easy. Plus, I'm a bit of a klutz, and the choreography defeated my poor, simple-minded feet!

I love the plyometric intervals in I-Max - the vertical jumps, plyo jacks, plyo lunges, box jumps, side-to-side jumps, airborne jacks, and tuck jumps. I'm a water aerobics instructor who does step for myself, so what I'm doing is incorporating those toughie intervals into my own home-grown step workout using my aerobics music, on those "off" days when I don't do the tape. Those rotations really deliver - my legs are so much stronger!

Take care - thanks for your reply!

Hi, Blushing Bride - Cathe really delivers on her promise in this one that if you do it consistently, "you will get stronger and stronger and be able to go longer and longer, not only in this workout but all your other workouts . . ." The I-Max tape was one of the single best investments I've ever made for both cardio improvement and leg training. KEEP WITH IT - YOU'LL GET IT!
